Many silly machines...crazy place
Instead we rented free chairs and relaxed in the sun watched white cliffs.

This is a 1960's fun pier without the fun, the sense of irony, or the value. Down market without the downmarket prices.

Going out onto Brighton Pier offers great views of Brighton. it also has a mini fairground and there are some very nice shops selling curios and snacks. It also has a tiny South African shop selling biltong and grape fanta. A must for any South Africans.

The first thing we always do in Brighton is the pier. Just brilliant. Old fashioned sea-side fun. You can easily spend the whole day on the pier. Great fun for adults and kids alike.
