My boyfriend and I have just got home after our second trip to Hotel Pelirocco. We've been talking about going back since we tried the Fancy Pants room over a year ago, and finally made it back for a night in the Play Room and a night in the Nookie Room.

I've never seen a place that's more interesting and creative, or stayed anywhere with more friendly and helpful staff. They make you feel warmly welcomed and totally pampered. Their very talented chef is even an artist too! Each room is totally different, and completely original.

The famous Play Room lived up to all our expectations and so much more. We expected a room, but it's a huge suite, with a bathroom bigger than our living room at home! The seating area in the lounge has made me want to make my own version at home, and the bedroom.... Well - do you need to say more than 8 foot circular bed and a mirror on the ceiling? I'm normally pretty shy, but what girl wouldn't feel sexy in such a sexy room?

The Nookie Room was perfect for our second night. On the top floor with a gorgeous sea view, and it's very own kinky bed (try it and see) it was cosy, girly and romantic at the same time as being naughty.

I love the building itself too. The walls are uneven and the staircases are winding, the art on the walls is very worth checking out too.

We'll be back as soon as we have another excuse, and would recommend it to anyone that's looking for a special place to take their special someone. :)

My wife and I had decided that a trip to Brighton would be nice, since we met at Sussex University, and Brighton has always held many fond memories.

We arrived on the Friday and were warmly greeted at reception, and were swiflty shown to our room. It was a really nice surprise, as the decor of the room featured an eclectic, yet tasteful collection of furnishings.

The hotel had a great ambience, greatly enhanced by the helpful staff, and the delightful art work throughout the building.

The position of the hotel was great for what we wanted as it was within close proximity to the beach, and more importantly from my wife's perspective, 'near to the lanes'.

After a fun evening we retired to our room and slept soundly. We woke the next morning and ate a hearty breakfast in the hotel before venturing into the hussle of the lanes. We actually spent the evening in the bar and had a great time. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, and my wife made good use of the range of cocktails on offer!

We left the next morning planning our next visit. Thank you Hotel Pelirocco xxx

My Partner booked us into the 'Play' room for a dirty weekend. We were both very excited, as from the pictures it looks very inviting and plush.

On arriving, we checked in and bypassed everything - straight for the room. Its situated on the bottom floor which didn't bother us at the time.
We got lost in the ambience at made straight to business, which was great fun - mirrored cealing etc.
Later in the evening we tried to settle into the room and relax and this is the biggest problem I have.

The room is designed for one thing, and that isn't sleeping or being comfortable. The 8 foot round bed is made up of two semi circle matresses which do not join up so you end up with a constant divide in the bed = the most uncomfortable nights "sleep" ever.
The Bathroom is a sunken bath, but the hot tank isn't big enough to fill it up (over an 1/8th of the height) so you end up with a freezing bath! The actual Bathroom is stupidly cold as well which takes all the "Seduction" out of it as you are freezing yer nads off.

Then there is the noise, The "Play" room is right under the bar which goes on till 4am and right by the street so you get all the noisey travellers coming home. Not the hotels fault but soundproofing could be helpful.

Then there is the service. Being called "Darlin" by someone 8 years younger than you is very off putting. The overall effect is like you are paying to stay at a student house for the evening.

The "Hotel" needs completely revamping. It looks tired and shabby. Its very much style over content, everything looks interesting but functionally it doesn't work.

If you are after a room where you can have sex and then leave I suggest a Brothel or pay over the odds and have a room here. If you are after a Hotelfor £300 then choose anywhere but here.

I felt very sorry for my partner and managed to knock off £50 from the bill, but the taste is very bitter.

We stayed here for a night for my boyfriends birthday and travelled all the way from Manchester. We'd booked the Absolut Love room and had a really great time. The hotel is very eclectic, lots of fun, wacky and totally different to anywhere else you'll ever stay. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The room was great fun with a super king sized heart shaped bed, chaise lounge, own bathroom, PS2, and a wonderful balcomy view of the sea. The only dissapointment was the Absolut Love theme on Absolut Vodka wasnt apparent and where there once seemed to be a chandelier above the bed was now plastic shaped vodka bottles hanging down. Hardly anything to ruin the evening though!!! Breakfast was GORGEOUS!!! If you're looking for something a little different then this is the place for you. Dont stay here if you want a run of the mill hotel. Its great fun for the young at heart and we'd deffo stay here again and try another room.
