We were greeted by Darren at 11.30pm with a warm, ‘There you are, we wondered where you were!’, since I had called earlier to tell them we’d be arriving around 10.00pm. The room was cosy, warm and spotless, and the bed so comfy. We slept very well and had a delicious breakfast in a beautiful, sunny room overlooking the sea. The staff were without exception friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely stay again if in Brighton, and recommend the hotel to our friends.

Just came back from weekend with my husband, sister in law and brother in law and have to say we wouldn't hesitate in booking this hotel again. We were in 309 with a double poster bed. Room very comfortable with all amenities we could need. Bathroom had obviously recently upgraded...very nice. Staff were first class and so friendly, we couldn't fault them. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice and again very friendly and helpful waitresses.
Will definitely return .

What a brilliant, welcoming and gem of a find in this beautiful town! I have visited Brighton about 4 times and
mostly stayed in local chain hotels but this hotel tops them all not only in their customer service, location and price but their charm. When I booked on the phone I spoke to Emily which happened to be the same lovely lady that helped me with attractions and restaurants throughout my stay. A very welcoming host indeed. The hotel itself is family run which is a great personal touch. As a solo traveller I can feel slightly unjust staying in some places but this hotel accommodates personal safety and security with a 24 hour reception, something I find hugely comforting.

I recommend this hotel for everyone - solos, couples and families.

I will definitely be staying here again and telling all my friends!

Great breakfast.. lots of nice touches. Really nice to stay in an "old fashioned", family hotel. Great value.. will be back.

Visited this friendly hotel on the seafront for a couple of days. Staff lovely and the room was beautiful. Spotless and underfloor heating in the brand new bathroom. Would go back again and highly recommend.
