The welcome was warm and so was I after climbing to the 3rd floor with my suitcase.
The decor is painted wood chip and looking very warn. In my room was a layer of loose paint which had flaked off the walls on one side of the bed. It was very dusty.
I must say the en suite bathroom had a most excellent shower and was very clean.
I found the top floor quiet. The breakfast was mediocre not offering anything remotely healthy.
Cornflakes or Ricecrispies, white toast and juice which tasted like squash.
The Full English breakfast was also uninspiring but served quickly.
The staff were helpful and gave information on the local area.
The location for the beach and shops is good.

As we booked close to our break time we did not have much choice and selected The Andorra as the the photos made it look fine and the location is good, just off the sea front.
However, after checking into the room we noticed the decor was poor, the wallpaper was bubbling in places. The toilet and shower were very small a and the metal soap holder attached to the shower wall was broken which meant unless you were careful it would crash onto the ground just missing your feet! After the first day, I noticed that the room had not been cleaned properly,They had simply replaced the bed cover, shoving the dirty one inside the wardrobe! They did not clean the bathroom floor and they did not replace the tea, coffee, milk etc.
The breakfast was at best poor. I ordered 2 bolied eggs and they came much too soft so the next morning I requested that they have 10 minutes yet they came too soft again!
Not good enough for £70 a night!

Reasonable rates, excellent breakfast service, friendly stuff, lots of help and located directly in the center, close to the seafront... you can even hear the seagulls and feel the seabreathe. Great!!

We booked as part of a package deal for a hen weekend. The hotel was based on a side road off the seafront, short walk to shops, bars etc. Rooms are basic but clean, staff were fantastic, very friendly, good breakfast & served promptly, would have no problem with staying there again :-)

was part of a group of 5 booked into the Hotel, Rooms up on the 3rd floor are tiny and cramped, not suitable for anyone who maybe not so fit. The walls between rooms, very thin, was kept awake most of the nights by the sound of snoring from the occupant of the next room. Furniture and décor old and tired, stains all over the carpets throughout the "Hotel". Don't expect to park near the place, limited spaces at over £3.00 an hour! Breakfast very basic, an "either or" option of some dodgy food!

A great hotel with friendly staff and well situated for the beach, shops and public transport options. The rooms are clean and adequate for basic sleeping and washing. The rooms have tea and coffee and a tv. En suite bathrooms were clean and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was fast and efficient although the breakfast does not start until 8.30am which is a problem when you wake at 6am and are looking to be out and about early.
