This hotel is in a very good position. Right on the waterfront. Within walking distance to the high street, the pier and the lanes. The staff are very helpful and obliging, helping to carry the bags up the steps. Breakfast was very good. It had a large menu and the food was well cooked. The rooms are small but adequate. It is quite with no noise from the street. We stayed there for seven nights and there would be nothing detrimental to say about this hotel.

Lovely slightly quirky boutique hotel, many rooms with sea views and within easy walking distance of the Lanes. The breakfasts are excellent - using top quality local produce. Only improvement would be a little bit of time touching up the odd slightly untidy/worn corner of the room/bathroom decor.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights of a 3 night conference. I have to say that the staff made my stay very pleasant. Lovely boutique hotel. Fabulous decor in my room. A surprise jacuzzi bathroom that looked like a cupboard but had an amazing room inside. The staff could not do enough for you. Food was excellent too. By contrast we had to stay at a large 'chain' hotel nearby on the last night of our trip as we hadn't booked The Granville for long enough. This hotel beat the famous chain hotel hands down. Will definitely book here again when in Brighton.

On arrival we were impressed by the warm welcome we got from reception, especially when we were told we had been upgraded to a room with a four poster bed overlooking the sea! It was perfect in every way. It is a great location, especially as we had booked to see Leonard Cohen in concert at the Brighton Centre which was a short walk away. The breakfast was excellent, and we were able to sit outside enjoying the sea air! There is no parking available at the hotel so we used the Regency Row secure car park, this is perfect as long as you do not want to use your car after 6pm. Would definitely recommend and return to this hotel.

Lovely hotel, perfect location, friendly staff, great breakfasts. We stayed in the West Pier room, which has windows down to the floor, giving great views not just of the sea, but all the whole promenade - great for people watching. Good bed, large jacuzzi. Recommended.
