Went on Friday 21st June having been told that the Ginger Pig is excellent, but we decided to try the Ginger Dog I believe it's the most recently opened. I would say in general the food was very good. I had a cod carpaccio as a starter and although there wasn't a lot of flavour to the fish, the trimmings with tomatoes had a really intense flavour which almost took your breath away, and was very different.. In all we enjoyed the meal and found the service to be very slick and friendly bearing in mind how busy they were. The two of us had 3 courses, a glass of Prosseco, a carafe of wine and two coffees for £87, so not cheap but reasonable value for money with the quality of the food. I would go again based on this experience and will probably try one of the others in the group which are all in the Brighton area
