I was fortunate to find this restaurant when it first opened and it just goes from strength to strength. Last nights meal was nothing short of exceptional guys !! In fact, last week I dined at a Gordon Ramsey Michelin star restaurant in London, and in my opinion, the food last night was better.

The chicken starter was beautiful. The turbot main - stunning !!

I love the service and the fact the meal is never rushed and (for the standard of food) the price is very good.

There's a reason this restaurant is always top on trip advisor.
My only concern is that one day you will stop. Please don't guys. The people of Brighton need you. You should incredibly proud of what you have created here. Thank you.

Don't you just love it when everything works. I was hosting a 16 person event and needed somewhere great for dinner. Tripadvisor produced this restaurant. Easy on the phone and fabulous food, good wine list, everyone very happy. Great staff, they gave us our own corner of the place. Wasn't cheap but not crazy and they so delivered. Really couldn't be happier for them for us for everyone!

My partner and I visited here after finding it was number 1 for Brighton, We were not disappointed. The food was fantastic, a good size concise menu with something for everyone. Every course we had was a perfect combination of flavours.

The waitress we had serving us was also excellent and very attentive.

We will definitely come back when we visit Brighton again

We were planning a day trip to Brighton and found this restaurant through TripAdvisor being that it was No. 1 in the area and had some great reviews. It certainly lived up to the reviews and did not disappoint.

Not being that familiar with Brighton I did not realise that 24 St Georges is a bit of a walk out of the main town and I can see that, particularly for a lunch time it would be completely overlooked in terms of passing trade and it's such a shame as it is definitely worth the excursion of the main drag. Indeed we were the only people in the restaurant for the Saturday lunch time we dined there which made it lacking of a little atmosphere, however, they were fully booked that evening so maybe that would be a better time to go for a little more 'background noise'.

We were greeted by very friendly and polite staff whom had a good knowledge of the menu and were able to advise accordingly. The decor was very pleasant with big windows to the front which is where we were seated. A little note to the cleaner... the lower wooden rails should really be cleaned on the chairs as they were all very dusty! Everything else, including the toilets were very clean.

The menu is not huge, however, has plenty of choose from; including a fixed price lunch menu if you so desire. Before our starters we were served with some bread and an 'amuse bouche' of a vegetarian Scotch Quails egg which was delicious. The bread was also very good. All of the courses were excellent; very much fine dining with lots of different elements on the plates. The food was perfectly cooked and packed full of wonderful flavours. Of particular note were the 'Free Range Chicken' starter, the 'Fillet of Beef' main, and also the 'Rabbit & Crayfish' main. The presentation of all the courses was excellent and of a very high standard. For us, the meal was quite simply one of the best we have ever eaten.

The food in this restaurant could easily be mistaken for a very upmarket restaurant in London however the bill was not. All three of us had a three course meal with drinks and the bill only came to just over £100 before tip. Bearing in mind that a couple of the dishes we chose were some of the most expensive on the menu it was really quite a shock for food this good to be so reasonable. Even thinking back on it now, compared to other places we have visited recently which are good and a similar price makes me realise just how good value 24 St Georges is.

We would without doubt highly recommend this restaurant; we only wish we lived closer so we could go more often. It is worth the walk out of town. If you like fine dining then you should not be disappointed.

We visited 24 during a short break in Brighton... We had the 3 courses for £22 - great choice! The food was presented really well and the staff were so attentive. The staff anticipated a wait on food due to a large party dining, so we were given a complimentary bread course pre-starters - lovely touch! We left 24 with smiles on our faces :)
