“What a fantastic find”

We stayed here for a night as we attended a concert in Brighton and it is ideally situated. Its an easy 10 minute walk to the town centre but is in a quiet location off the main road. Room was spotlessly clean and the staff were very smiley and helpful. Another vote for the great breakfasts with a great choice. Would definitely recommend to others. One tiny quibble would be the shower which wasn't the most responsive but it just took a while to get to the right temperature.

Stayed one night for a concert. Booked a small double ensuite, got one on the top floor (max 3 rooms on a floor I reckon) and it was a nice and clean. The room had about a metre around the bed space and there was various teas, coffee, milk, sugar, water bottles and apples. The bed was very high, but also very comfy. The only problems we had with the room was that the door didn't lock (informed a member of staff at reception before going out and they said they'd look into it and leave the key for us to find on our return. Got back and nothing seemed to have been done about it.) and also the booklet only had one wifi name and password, but I could only find Paskins2 and Paskins3 which the password didn't work for. This morning we went down to breakfast and had the full vegetarian breakfast with tea and there was lots of fruits, seeds, nuts, cereals etc available on the side. Honestly, was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had and filled me up and kept me going for most of the day. Will be staying here again in November for another concert :)

Room Tip: We had room 9. Nice room, but locks and wifi not working. Kinda sea view.

Stayed 2 nights in the four-poster room. The bed was comfortable, and a real authentic four-poster. Bathroom was stunning - the shower was incredible; massive shower head and piping hot water . Staff were lovely. Decor was fantastic - very Art Nouveau/Art Decor - everywhere - so much effort has gone into designing the place. Check out the breakfast room. And the seating area behind the breakfast room! Breakfast was out of this world. Can't recommend it enough. 10/10. Worth going to Brighton just to stay here.

Room Tip: Only saw the four-poster room, but judging the overall place - I would imagine all rooms would be as...

Though we only stayed at Paskins for two nights, it was a really enjoyable experience. Our room was clean, and with good heating and extra bedding (a real concern since we stayed there during one of Brighton's infrequent snowstorms). The hotel's theme was really cute-- all 1930's glam!

The best thing about the place, however, was the breakfast. I expected simple continental fare, but was pleasantly surprised with a superb selection of freshly-cooked egg dishes. Delicious! I also really value a good cup of coffee, and found the filtered coffee very agreeable. I loved the music they played in the breakfast nook. It really added to the 1930's feel. "Puttin' on the Ritz!"

Great service, great rooms, and great location (right down the street from the pier and Old Steine)

Thank you Paskins!

Paskins is well located at the east end of Kemp Town, and is typical of the tall narrow houses in this area which don't catch the sun so can feel a little cool and gloomy. Clever use of mirrors opens up the space inside which has an Art Deco theme with very clean and reasonably spacious rooms. David and Susan are very welcoming and professional without being intrusive and the Sussex breakfast is an absolute delight. I'd be more than happy to stay here again. And dog-friendly too.

Room Tip: We stayed in a room overlooking the street and it was actually pretty quiet, even on a Saturday nigh...

We were in Brighton for the day and decided to stay, we booked a room online then had a few drinks, we turned up to our hotel at 10:30pm and it was fully booked with no room for us!! We had to find a room fast or face a 3 hour drive home.
Paskins was the only hotel to answer the phone so late, they even got out of bed for us. We could not believe our luck. A beautiful boutique hotel, lovely staff, clean rooms with a very unique Art Deco style.
After a very confortable nights sleep we had one of the most delicious organic breakfasts I have ever experienced in a small hotel. We were told where all the produce was from and the eggs were so fresh (free range of course).
We will be moving to Brighton at the end of May and will recommend Paskins to friends and family as it is in a great location and is well worth the money!

Room Tip: The building is very tall so lots of stairs.
