Paskins is well located at the east end of Kemp Town, and is typical of the tall narrow houses in this area which don't catch the sun so can feel a little cool and gloomy. Clever use of mirrors opens up the space inside which has an Art Deco theme with very clean and reasonably spacious rooms. David and Susan are very welcoming and professional without being intrusive and the Sussex breakfast is an absolute delight. I'd be more than happy to stay here again. And dog-friendly too.

Room Tip: We stayed in a room overlooking the street and it was actually pretty quiet, even on a Saturday nigh...

We were in Brighton for the day and decided to stay, we booked a room online then had a few drinks, we turned up to our hotel at 10:30pm and it was fully booked with no room for us!! We had to find a room fast or face a 3 hour drive home.
Paskins was the only hotel to answer the phone so late, they even got out of bed for us. We could not believe our luck. A beautiful boutique hotel, lovely staff, clean rooms with a very unique Art Deco style.
After a very confortable nights sleep we had one of the most delicious organic breakfasts I have ever experienced in a small hotel. We were told where all the produce was from and the eggs were so fresh (free range of course).
We will be moving to Brighton at the end of May and will recommend Paskins to friends and family as it is in a great location and is well worth the money!

Room Tip: The building is very tall so lots of stairs.

Heard so much about this hotel from my colleagues and every single one of them raved about the breakfast so I thought I'd give it a go and I was not disappointed.
The breakfast is lovely. The rooms are a little on the small side but for the money, completely excellent value. Clean, airy and functional.
A great hotel in Brighton!

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Paskins Town House.

My single room was a fantastic bargain, very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The hosts obviously work really hard to make the property and service of the highest order.

There's just something really chilled and welcoming about Paskins. It's like staying at your favourite aunt's house... sure there are little snitches, creaky narrow stairs, broadband's often haphazard, the linen's a bit hit and miss and sometimes the hoover's been whizzed round a bit quickly.. but that's all made up for by the overall welcome and comfort of the place. I've slept in at least 6 of the rooms, always on a comfortable bed and almost always oversleep (you get used to the brighton seagulls' dawn chorus, but take ear plugs if needed).
Staff are a diverse and interesting bunch, all have a relaxed and friendly approach.
Vegetarian breakfasts are always top notch with at least 3 cooked veggie options plus fish dishes as well as a normal buffet of juices and cereals.
Always a range of guests especially from Europe, breakfast room is friendly and relaxed with enough room to move between tables which is unusual in Brighton. Solo women travellers can relax here.
Nice little art deco touches all over the place, in rooms and common areas complete this little gem.

Room Tip: All the rooms I've stayed in have been good - I've stayed in large single, double, large dou...

Very comfortable stay in one of the few triples at a B&B anywhere in Brighton; warm, cosy room. Make sure you're fit enough, though, to handle the several flights of stairs. David is a great host, and cooks a wonderful breakfast. Great filtered coffee, for those of us Americans who are missing our regular brew. (I think I also saw expresso, for those who like that better.) We will certainly look into staying here again.
