Went to visit for the first time with a couple of friends, Tuesday evening. Ambience was nice!

The service was very friendly and Tookta helped us choose the appropriate dishes. We had veg spring rolls and veg tempura for starters which were great. For mains we had the chicken pad Thai (nr. 24) and the veg stir fry (nr. 19). Both were very good.

A great evening meal at a very reasonable price. We will be coming back for sure!

After reading all of the glowing reviews on TA (and with Thai being our favourite food) we HAD to give Tookta's a try. Unfortunately due to the restaurant being so small they don't take bookings for tables of less than four people, so when we arrived the restaurant was packed! We were asked to return half an hour later and upon arrival managed to get a table. Despite the restaurant being busy we were attended to quickly and when the food arrived we were pleasantly surprised. HUGE portions and it was all amazingly well prepared - easily the best Thai food we've had outside of Thailand. We had a lovely chat with the owners afterwards too as we were the last to leave and they are really down to earth and friendly people. A must-visit!

We arrived at 18.10 on a Friday night, and were the first there, but it soon started filling up, and no wonder. The food was stunning, all cooked and served by the wonderful Tookta. Staff were all smiles, very welcoming. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Best Thai food we have had in the UK.

I took my mum to Tookta's this evening to celebrate her birthday - despite our bedraggled appearance after a long day shopping, we were welcomed in and made to feel at home. The staff could not have been better - simply flawless: pleasant, interesting and wonderful service. Truly the best restaurant I have had the pleasure of visiting. We had delicious food and the generous portions ensured we were full to bursting and Tookta even kindly packaged up the leftovers for us. I cannot express how impressed I was - such a refreshing experience. And the presentation of both the food and the restaurant was exquisite, Tookta's cafe definitely goes the extra mile. Thankyou for a fabulous evening, we will definitely be back.

We have lived in the Far East, and the food tonight was well up to far East standard; all ingredients were correct and the taste was properly authentic.
