What a great place to enjoy yummy Thai food. Everything is freshly cooked, the veg is especially well cooked and not one bit overdone . The Penang curry and the chilly squid is the best I've had! The service is so friendly as well.

A lovely little Thai cafe. We just returned from Thailand and were already missig the food when we tried this restuarant.

We had the Tom Yam Soup and you cannot tell the difference between this cafe and any of the little Thai cafe's on the side of the road throughout southern Thailand. Next we had the Thai green/red currys which were excellent but please note when the menu says 'rich' they mean 'rich' sauce. I will probably ask for it to made a little bit thinner in the future.

Tookta and her team are incredibly lovely and you should go to this resturant just for the service alone. We felt as if we were welcomed into someone's home and did not want to leave. This is a great cafe that represents all that is good about Brighton....quirky, friendly, great food and that feeling like you always belonged there. Thank youfor a great meal Tookta (the owner's name!).

My boyfriend and I ate here last night after seeing great reviews on trip advisor and we really weren't disappointed. The food was amazing and so were staff, the lady cooking out meal came out afterwards to ask about our meal which was such a lovely touch. Can't wait to come back to Brighton just to come back here again!

We went to Tookta's whilst staying in Brighton for a couple of nights and had chosen it based on trip adviser feedback.

The quality of what we had was excellent, but even better was the friendliness of those that worked there.

It's a small place and the atmosphere is very good. The only (very small) downside and please don't let this put you off, but the music was a little bit loud for our liking.

We tried tom-yam soup, squid salad, curry and noodles which all came to a very reasonable twenty pounds. Portions were a regular size except the salad which was small. The food could be stronger flavored and be less sweet for my liking but nonetheless was enjoyable with clean flavors and discerning tastes of the fresh ingredients. We were very delighted In particular with squid and prawns being fresh. The chef was overseeing taking the order and made sure all our preferential requests were considered. The staff is very friendly, down to earth and with a sense of humor which I found perfectly suitable for their cafe concept. Its interior does not strive to anything other than cafe either.
Overall it was a pleasant experience. It deserves respect as a useful institution which serves its purpose in satisfying the tastes of majority of Brightonians. As such I could easily recommend it to anybody as a safe choice.
