The location was amazing no questions asked for the price of the rooms I guess it was okay but only due to location
Luckily all we had was a one night stay
It was dirty, pubic hairs in bath, sink didn't drain, bedding was dirty, really unpleasant photos of naked women around our room and rotten boxers and socks in a draw
BUT... Even though it was dirty it wasn't awful and location was fantastic!!

Booked here for work. The first few nights I had to share with my colleague (height of summer) & the room we had was truly, truly awful. Ripped curtains, cold, noisy, rusty bath, dirty, stained, I could go on. Then I was moved into a single occupancy by a stroke of luck. This room was so much better. In fact it was massive! One double & 2 single beds. It also looked like it had been painted & refurbed. I was pleasantly surprised. They need to refurb all the rooms & public places as it is very dated. The location is superb. Right slap bang next to the pier & town

Room Tip: get a refurbed room

After reading some of the reviews on here I was really worried that this hotel would be awful, it is a bit run down and the staff weren't overly friendly but it was fine. Room was clean and everything worked. Great location right next to the pier

Ok so booked this without checking the reviews.... Then did before we arrived and was in a panic as to what we had let ourselves in for.
So yes it is a bit jaded, yes a bit old, yes need the decor sorted. But.....
As a family with three kids when we stay in general hotels or upmarket, we are either squashed or paying for two rooms!!!
We booked this last minute for the mid term for two nights, £80 roughly, the room was big with a double and three singles for the kids, yep old school and harks back to the 70s or 80s bit for a place to put your head and have lots of room it's perfect.
I do hope they update it and keep the room sizes as we will stay again, even in its present state. Sort if bang for buck

Awful claustrophobic rooms, dated appalling decor! Emailed the manager demanding a full refund, do not stay here!
Staff were rude and not interested. The only good thing is the bang on central location! Needs a complete refurb... Such a shame!

This has got to be the worst hotel I have stayed in. At £125 a night for a single room it's daylight robbery.
It's dirty and very tatty. There is paint peeling and damp patches everywhere. The lounge sofas are worn. Breakfast was abysmal. Shocking

This hotel is like a horror show. Plaster hanging off the ceiling, dirty carpets, grotty chairs, and that's just the common areas.

The rooms are poor as well... The worst bit being discovering the filthy towel after I showered.

It's beyond repair. Just knock it down and start again.

Avoid!
