Description: Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and day-trippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates. The restaurant has homely, um-pretentious and informal, with a very chilled vibe and the service is friendly. Strongly recommended are the Paellas and Rice dishes of which they are absolute specialists. Pop in for a glass of Sherry from their extensive selection, have it with a little tapa, or for a Schooner of the best Spanish beer imported in to the UK. Another feature worth mentioning is their menu which can be entirely prepared in a CELIAC friendly way. Gluten-free beers are also available and their gluten-free bread is baked in house by the Head Chef.

Lovely atmosphere and great food at a great price. Lovely tapas and seafood paella. doesn't look too great from the outside but don't let that put you off.

Went here for a quick pre theatre early meal, wish we had gone on a night we were not in a rush. It felt so authentic, which of course it is. Reminded me of places we had been to in Spain away from the touristy bits. Service was friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and good selection. I had the aubergine salad, sounds boring but it was yummy. My husband had stuffed peppers which he really enjoyed, had other tapas which were all really good. If we return to Brighton would definitely go again.

We have lived and had a business in Spain and can honestly say this was some of the best Spanish food I have eaten. We were spoilt for choice and just couldn't decide what to choose. The staff couldn't be more friendly and efficient, prices very reasonable. and service are excellent. We will definately come back when we are in Brighton again. We came with family and friends to celebrate our Ruby Wedding anniversary and couldn't have enjoyed it more..

“Fantastic food, fantastic service and a lovely owner”
Reviewed July 7, 2014 via mobile

Me and 9 friends went to this restaurant without a booking and were accommodated. We went following reading the reviews and we were not disappointed.

The food was absolutely delicious. We had a mixture of tapas and mains. I highly recommend the seabass grilled and drizzled with olive oil and vinegar and the lamb cutlets in wine and garlic sauce. Out of this world. The fiod and drinks are very reasonably priced.

The owner is a lovely character and visited our and other diners tables to see how we were. He also gave us all a free shot as we were celebrating a friends birthday. He has good banter and was very funny.

I am fussy eater but can honestly say this food was perfect no complaints. I can't wait to go back to Brighton and visit this restaurant again. Yum.

“Full to the brim!”
Reviewed July 7, 2014

Went here on a Friday night with a pal. There was dancing going on throughout the night and at one point they had a bride to be up and dancing, it can get a bit loud but was fine for us!

We ordered a selection of tapas to start and were told when we had ordered too much, I thought this was a nice touch as a lot of places are just thinking of the money and will let you order way much more than you need.

Food was hot and the homemade sangria goes down too well!

We shared a paella for mains which was so massive we took some home in a doggy bag! the waiters are friendly and if you want a real authentic Spanish night and food you wont be disappointed!

Will go back!!
