Description: Located on the Kings Road in Brighton, Bar Aguadulce is a bright and buzzy spot popular with locals and day-trippers from the capital who all love the down-to-earth atmosphere and authentic Spanish menu. Serving everything from tapas to fresh fish and homemade puddings, Bar Aguadulce is a good spot for get-togethers and after-work drinks-and-dinner dates. The restaurant has homely, um-pretentious and informal, with a very chilled vibe and the service is friendly. Strongly recommended are the Paellas and Rice dishes of which they are absolute specialists. Pop in for a glass of Sherry from their extensive selection, have it with a little tapa, or for a Schooner of the best Spanish beer imported in to the UK. Another feature worth mentioning is their menu which can be entirely prepared in a CELIAC friendly way. Gluten-free beers are also available and their gluten-free bread is baked in house by the Head Chef.

My wife and I ate here twice during our 3 night stay in Brighton. We initially chose this restaurant from the reviews but after our first night we were so impressed we returned on our last night.
Our first meal was all tapas which were all very good, on our second visit we chose 3 tapas as starters followed by paella for the main again all very good. The staff are helpful and friendly and we would definitely eat here again.

We found this restaurant recommended on the internet. The tapas were very authentic and the fish as good as I've eaten in Spain. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It's very popular so best to book a little ahead although we were lucky and managed to get a late booking for 8 people!

We went to Aguadulce for Father's Day lunch. As a party of 12 (three families) we were asked to pre order our Tapas from the set menu selection and were due to eat at 2.30. Unfortunately when we booked it we didn't realise it was also the day of the London to Brighton bike race and several of our party were delayed in the traffic. However, that was no problem for the restaurant. They didn't worry at all and just held the food back until everyone had arrived which by then was about 45 minutes late! The food was excellent. We had selected 8 items from the menu which included mussels, meatballs, calamari, gambas and lasagne all of which were delicious. I would totally recommend this restaurant for excellent authentic tapas and great service.

My wife and I popped in here on Friday on the off chance a we were glad we did, they managed to get us in even though the Spain game was on so it was packed.the waitress knew everything about all the food on the menu which I always like, wine list was good and tasted good, paella was the best I've tasted.there was a lot of Spanish people and families in that night for the game which I always find a good indication of how good the food must be,look forward to going there again next time I'm in Brighton

We booked this restaurant due to its reviews on trip advisor and were not disappointed.
The staff were friendly, helpful and extremely apologetic and embarrassed at the very loud hen party they had at one of the tables. Totally not their fault and the hens were just having fun. It did make it easier to talk once they'd gone though :-)
The food was tasty and we polished it all off. Breads, dips and a black pudding tapas whilst waiting for our paella - which was definitely worth the wait! We were in no rush so relaxed and even indulged in desserts.
This is definitely a place for couples to enjoy a shared meal.
Cost for drinks (wine and beer x3), tapas, paella and desserts just under £80. Worth it!
