Been here twice now and the food is exceptional. I've never had anything like it before.

Initially a little apprehensive as the first part of the menu is dominated by satay, and I'm not much of a fan, but so glad I wasn't put off. I've had the Kambing Bakar (spicy lamb) and the Rendang Daging (bit like a beef curry) with a selection of the sides that I've shared with the people that I'm with and everything is delicious.

Good wine and beer selection too.

Lovely lovely food and wonderful smiling waitresses. Had a two course meal, rice, vegetables and a bottle of prosecco which came to £55. Indonesian food is quite difficult to find, most of the restaurants in Brighton are Thai, but there is just something extra in Indonesian food, we love rather interesting textures and flavours.

We arrived at 7.45pm on a Saturday night and hadn't pre booked. Luckily as it was raining heavily we were able to get a table for two on the ground floor. Tables are packed closely together but everyone was friendly and enjoying their meals. There was a lot of footfall and the restaurant was very busy.

My lamb in soy sauce was gorgeous and my husband enjoyed his beef rendang which is generally his meal of choice. There was plenty of rice and our vegetables with garlic had a nice taste. The prosecco was very well priced and a good quality, light and fruity with no acidic overtones. Many people seemed to have ordered the sharing platter at £25 each but it looked huge, hence our individual choices.

Would recommend and hope to return when we are next in Brighton.

Friday evening in December. Just as well we booked since it was very full by the time we left. Menu explains all dishes in helpful detail and the food itself was a delight - just about the right amount and appropriately spicy for the English palate. Good service and sensible prices. Would certainly return but be sure to book first, especially at weekends.

We will most certainly be visiting the restaurant again. The service was friendly, fast and helpful. The food was well presented, flavoursome and just so tasty I wanted more.

We have eaten at this genuine authentic restaurant for over 2 years. It is a little gem with some lovely menu options good service and reasonably priced. If you have ever been to Indonesia or consider going then this is a must to tempt you with a range of cuisine. The mood iss calm and staff are very friendly.
