We visited as a group of 14 on a hen night based on good reviews we'd seen but I was sadly disappointed, whilst the entertainment and music were great we'd paid for a set menu of £20 each and the dishes started pouring out, they were mediocre....bread and alioli (mayonnaise I thought) Pate, salami, chorizo, garlic mushrooms, anchovies, garlic prawns, spicy potatoes, spinach balls (tasteless and bland!) pork meatballs in gravy (yuck!) most of these dishes were very small and not much to go around for 14, anyway this was a 'starter' before the even of paella as the main course, well we only had two pans worth, one meat and one fish - again between 14 not much to go around especially as most people preferred the fish! But in honesty paella it was not... More like mildly fish flavoured stodgy rice pudding, my serving consisted of 5 shells (empty) 1 heavily pregnant prawn (they apparently all were!) and an indescribable mass of something fishy. The meat one was no better. And that was the meal... £20 each for pretty much a plates worth of below average food they made a nice profit off us that's for sure. £12 for a jug of sangria which was foul (sangria isn't usually nice but this was vile!) it was a rip off. Would I recommend the place? For a drink and the entertainment, maybe if you had no better alternative, for the food ... I'd rather eat mcdonalds.
