We happened upon this place. We'd been to the restaurant building itself on many occasions during its many incarnations. We hope that this one lasts, because it was a very happy find. We chose from the main menu and sat outside on one of the few rather warm days we've had in October. We had the albondigas (meatballs) in a very good sauce - different to the usual tomato paste ones; garlic mushrooms; chorizo in cider; then a bit downmarket with chips and alioli - but boy were they good; and the most amazing croquetas ever. We're used to the croquettes in breadcrumbs, but these spinach and ricotta croquettes were cooked in specially prepared vermicelli pasta, so they look like spiky elongated hedgehogs, but they are so delicious and crunchy I wish we'd ordered more. Portions are great, prices are very reasonable. They do main courses too if you don't fancy the tapas themselves. They do set menus and everything. Well worth a visit. As for the service, it was very friendly and polite. Our waiter was a very nice man originally from Murcia in Spain. Can't recommend the place enough.

I was one of a party of 17 ladies in Brighton on a hen weekend and we booked a meal at Ole Ole on the Friday night.
We booked a set menu of Tapas and Paella and also ordered bottles of wine and jugs of Sangria.
Immediately the atmosphere of the place was really buzzing, I believe it's a family run restaurant with all the family getting involved and you could tell they love what they do.
The tapas was fabulous, lots of veggie as well as meat dishes kept coming and coming and coming!!! So many of them I was worried I wouldn't be able to eat my Paella when it was time for the main course.
The food was delicious, it was all really tasty and I loved the fact there was a veggie Paella served together with the Chicken one as we had a couple of vegetarians in our party.
The family gave a traditional Spanish performance towards the end of the night which just added to the atmosphere.
A fabulous night, I will definitely be returning and would recommend to everybody who likes Spanish food!

Went as part of a bigger party and wasn't part of the booking process so had no expectations (other than worrying whether there would be enough food on our set tapas menu, given experiences at other tapas restaurants). The food was excellent and plentiful and the service was genuine and friendly. What stuck with me, though, was the atmosphere. With a live band and flamenco dancers, we soon felt like we had been allowed into someone's private family party. It seemed like there were Spanish friends turning up to hang out, and the waiting staff were singing along, but at no point did we feel excluded, very much the opposite. The dancing and music were great fun and I would definitely return if visiting again.

This was our second visit to Ole Ole and we were not disappointed again. Fantastic Tapas and excellent service. Loved the Flamenco, it was the highlight of the night. Very busy place, so make sure you book.
