We happened upon this place. We'd been to the restaurant building itself on many occasions during its many incarnations. We hope that this one lasts, because it was a very happy find. We chose from the main menu and sat outside on one of the few rather warm days we've had in October. We had the albondigas (meatballs) in a very good sauce - different to the usual tomato paste ones; garlic mushrooms; chorizo in cider; then a bit downmarket with chips and alioli - but boy were they good; and the most amazing croquetas ever. We're used to the croquettes in breadcrumbs, but these spinach and ricotta croquettes were cooked in specially prepared vermicelli pasta, so they look like spiky elongated hedgehogs, but they are so delicious and crunchy I wish we'd ordered more. Portions are great, prices are very reasonable. They do main courses too if you don't fancy the tapas themselves. They do set menus and everything. Well worth a visit. As for the service, it was very friendly and polite. Our waiter was a very nice man originally from Murcia in Spain. Can't recommend the place enough.
