Lunch served in the lovely sunshine on a busy Saturday afternoon in Brighton. We parked the car and had two hours to indulge in fish and chops at this friendly restaurant with an efficient service.
It made a refreshing change to be offered pollock and whiting as an alternative to cod. A fillet of each fish was served lightly battered with mushy peas and skinny fries. Good portion and delicious although I would have preferred thicker chips as not a fan of fries.
Well worth the visit and will return to sample the excellent local variety offered on the menu.
Would also like to try the wines too, but on this occasion had soft drinks.
Cost was £38 for one course and soft drinks for 3 of us. Good value compared to London prices at similar restaurants.
