“Great pricey resteraunt”
Reviewed March 11, 2014

Had an amazing meal there for my mother's birthday. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff were very friendly.
However, it as a little pricey for me, considering that we had only gone for lunch, it was still £50.
Food was really tasty though, cooked to perfection!

“Fresh local fish.......”
Reviewed March 1, 2014

Have been here a few times & have always had the most deicious fresh fish & what I really like is that it is sustainable. Crab cakes & scallops are favorite starters & main favorites are the crab linguine & dressed crab. The fish & chips normelly offers a choice of 2 types of fish & their skinny rosemary chips are DELICIOUS!!!!! Nice conservatory seating which is great if it's a cold but sunny day. Good service & friendly staff.

“Amazing food and excellent value for money!”
Reviewed February 24, 2014

I absolutely adored this restaurant when visiting with my mum, nan and aunt.
We were greeted with the quirky decor that Brighton's so good at offering and a smiling face from all staff.
Service was amazing and we had a lovely waitress who was chatty and couldn't do enough for us!
We all had a sharing starter which was divine, and after all of our mains, were left full up and very happy.
This food is freshly caught everyday and you can really taste how fresh it is!
A meal for 4, each having a large main, and sharing starter, teamed with 2 bottles of wine and 3 lemonades came to £114.00 which I thought was extremely reasonably considering the freshness and location!
Our experience was topped off with cute little "fishy fishy" mints and hand towels.

Lovely staff, excellent food and extremely reasonably priced. A must visit for fish lovers in Brighton!

“Not to be missed”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

In a place like Brighton it is hard to know where to eat - there are dozens of cafes and restaurants. However, we chanced upon Fishy Fishy by accident after wandering through The Lanes. It was late afternoon and not time for a meal, but we decided to give it a go the following lunchtime. A delightful little restaurant with a menu that looked promising. We ate in "the conservatory" but there is also a small dining room inside the building. We settled for moules marinieres - quite delicious and served with wonderful, thickly cut slices of fresh, warm bread. Personally, a better option that the usual "frites" - it absorbs the sauce far better ! The wine list is extensive, but Very Pricey. The pudds which followed was a warm chocolate brownie with hazlenuts and raspberries - quite out of this world. An excellent cappuccino finished off a lovely luncheon, and we shall return.

“Got me hook line and sinker”
Reviewed February 18, 2014 via mobile

Been here a few times now , cant fault the food at all, and it is always presented nicely ....
My only critic would be the price of your starters ... £6.50 for what amounted to a desert spoon of smoked mackerel is a bit of a liberty ( as nice as it is.
Staff friendly and a nice relaxed atmosphere.
