Description: The Copper Clam is a family run seafood and steak restaurant serving fresh locally sourced food on Brighton sea front. Some of our beautiful seafood dishes include grilled lobster, oyster (natural or cooked), mussels in white wine and pan fried cod. We also offer a selection of other delicious dishes such as risottos, steaks, and grilled skin on chicken breast. All of our food is made to order and freshly prepared in the kitchen by our talented chefs.

We had lunch today at the Santiago restaurant. it was sunny on the terrace and the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The gazpacho was particularly tasty. I would also recommend the fried cazon en adobo (fish in a spicy batter). Well worth a visit,

We first found this restaurant in 2010 on a trip back to the UK from Australia and were very keen to see if it still existed! it does thankfully and again the food was amazing, complemented by a beautiful bottle of Anselmi Pinot Grigio and some very helpful and cheery staff, despite the business of their restaurant. We enjoyed our lunch so much we returned again a couple of days later for a similarly gorgeous experience.

It is clear that the owners love what they do and do it very well. The combination of a huge choice of excellent Tapas alongside a few tasty and interesting main courses is a real winner and they are completely relaxed if you want to share plates of food. As a very fussy veggie it is sometimes difficult to find food I like but every time I have been here I have been delighted.

Food that looks, tastes and smells as good as this, but kept 'simple' is exactly what food should be like. The Spanish know it and so do the owners of this restaurant! We will return again from Australia some day to hopefully enjoy it again!

What a fantastic location, on Brighton seafront! And if that wasn't enough the selection of tapas we ordered was delicious and the service was friendly! We felt like we were on holiday!
