Been here before with groupon voucher and thought for basic fish and chips it was reasonable.
This time we were paying full price so were hoping our first visit was not out of the norm.
Sat outside in the sun looking out over the marina the location is excellent and as the marina is about the only place you can still park for free this makes it even better.
We both had the mussels at £7.95 to start, only one was closed and they were a good size and tasty.
Sea bass fillet at £15.95 looks over priced for half a fish and some saute potatoes where as my oven baked seabream and saute for the same price was reasonable. Both bits of fish were tasty and properly cooked. We had a side of spinach which at £2.95 was expensive.
White wine (Scicilian) was a bit thin for me but at least it did not over power the fish.
Service is relaxed but not sloppy, ask once and you get it. They don't mind having a chat but probably because they were not that busy (about 30%) .
They add service charge to your bill and we did not mind paying this charge.
Overall the meal was just over £60 and for lunch this is more than we would normally aim to pay. My seabream was worth the money, everything else is expensive for what you get. That's why we will look out for vouchers or groupons in future.
