Description: However popular the North Laine becomes, the heart of Brighton will always remain The Lanes themselves. There are plenty of pubs among the twisting narrow streets, but none is as well known as the Bath Arms, which enjoys a reputation among tourists and locals alike as THE pub of The Lanes.

“almost a local pub for someone who lives nowhere near it”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2011

As a local this pub has a warm and friendly atmosphere with very attentive bar staff. Food is good but not exceptional. Situated in the South Laines of Brighton it's not your typical tourist attraction.

Worth a visit if your are exhausted looking at local jewelery shops.

“Lovely Friendly Pub”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2011

Cheerful friendly staff where nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent - tasty, fresh and great value. Although there wasn't a children's menu, they produced a smaller version of the adult sausage and chips for my 5 year old.
A good selection of real ale, mainly from Shepherd Neame, was well kept and served at the right temperature.
We sat outside and watched Brighton life go by - a happy relaxed hour.
Particular thanks to the South African Barman and the pretty German waitress.

“Incredibly accomodating, great service and lovely food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2011

I organised a surprise birthday lunch for my boyfriend here and, despite being very busy that day, they ensured that a table for 10 was available. Then, when I had to increase the numbers just 2 days before the event, they made every effort to assure me that this would be fine, rearranged the tables and put us across 2 right next to each other. So helpful!

The Sunday Roast was lovely and the overall atmosphere of the pub was great. Although it was a sunny day and, really, too nice to be inside, this was a great little find and I would recommend it.
