Ate at Sam's early evening last week. Food is classically English and very well cooked. Had holumi cheese to start followed by chicken. Hubby had beef carpaccio followed by steak. All very tasty. Service excellent...two young friendly girls who handled a difficult customer very well. The restaurant itself felt unfinished....no blinds on the window which allowed those in flats opposite to watch us eat which was a bit disconcerting but easily fixed. Highly recommend but a little attention to the decor would make this an even better place.
