Brighton Beach has some fantastic scenic views and boasts an array of eateries. As it is close to the pier, it has a vibrant atmosphere but also offers quiet, tranquil parts to each end.

It is a nice walk along the waterfront with restaurants, buskers, bars and souvenir stores on one side and a lovely view of the ocean on the other side. The pungent sent of beer and vinegar can be abrupt as you walk along and we were really amazed at the fact that we smelled so much cigarette smoke all along the walk what with a strong breeze from the ocean. We were looking forward to the lovely fresh ocean scent and all we got for the most part was smoke from all the walkers around us. Sad really. Still better to walk along here than to walk on the sidewalk on the other side of the street.

Loved walking along the beach. Reminded me of my childhood living in Brighton. It has changed so much, would love to visit in the summer.

There were a nice few play areas, ice cream and coffee shops.

It had a nice path to walk along and was very clean from we saw.

We had the good weather 8th & 9th of March so got to see potentially how busy it could get and the beach was quite busy which was lovely to see.

It's at the bottom of a high street too so really near to the shops!

Also a live band were playing which made it enjoyable too!

Visited Brighton more times than I can remember in rain, wind and sunshine. Just an hour's drive from London straight down the M23 or a quick train ride from Clapham Junction. The beach is pebbly but still lovely to visit in any weather. The pier is old school with amusement arcades and creaky rides but the children love it. Shops are close by with plenty of restaurants to choose from. The Sealife centre is not really worth the money - small and in need of a lick of paint - but if you have a Merlin pass it's worth a visit.
