Not an ideal beach all pebbles, and normally quite windy although it seems to be quite clean. You can use barbeques are certain times of the year, and dogs are prohibited at certain times.

Fun for just getting there but not for sunbathing or swimming. It's more fun going around to visit shops, restaurants, bars and attractions than the beach itself.

Pebbled beach, with cold sea water pounding against it.
Knicks-knack stores, outdoor games (trampolines, miniature golf, etc.), restaurants and bars (with live music), even a fortune teller!
Take a stroll and breathe in the tacky-nostalgic vibe of the quintessential British seaside holiday town.

A lovely beach with plenty of facility's such as beachfront cafés, showers & interesting art shops. I visited on a sunny but chilly day, so didn't stay & sunbathe but I did have a good leg 'work-out' walking on the pebbles to view the remains of the West Pier. The beach is really clean & I didn't see any litter / dog mess. Can't wait to go back on a warmer day & spend a full day on the beach.
