The beach has only pebbles on the shore and the water is also calm for swimming although it could be very deep. Initially we could not find a parking spot but once we drove down and reached close to the shore we found plenty of space however parking charges are high. There is only one food stall at the beach and other food stalls near the beach also are a bit costly. When my friend and I went for a walk at the beach we accidentally nude part of the beach. Anyway it is worth visiting this beach and I would love to spend a day and night there next time.

All of brighton and hove and all the day-trippers find a spot somewhere alongalong the extensive beachfront whenever the sun is out. Whether you're having a bbq, sunbathing between chilly dips, exercising along the foreshore or just drinking with friends, everyone seems to love being by the sea. Locals seem to prefer the hove end (away from the piers) because there's less rubbish and less hens and bucks groups but there is more of a party atmosphere in the area between the piers with music (often reggae) pumping out of the beachside institutions; brighton music hall and fortune of war (both pubs)

We were very lucky with the weather, The beach is very clean and the water clear! Pebble beach but actually made a nice change and wa nice not to get sand stuck on you when you put your suncream on! Lots of restuarants to choose from and live music, Felt like being abroad!

Had a great day at the beach, plenty to see and do, live music, arts and crafts, deck chairs only £2.00 per day. Great mix of people. Night time was amazing again live music, great atmosphere, friendly, people on beach until late, BBQing, lots of bars and restaurants to choose from.

The beach is absolutely beautiful and I loved the easy going atmosphere. There were plenty of bars and restaurants overlooking the water. The pepples took some getting used to, (not for the anyone with weak ankles) but being from Florida, it was cool seeing something different.
