Pebbly beach, not so good for paddling, but it's really all about the bars and restaurants that line the prom. Quiet during the week but on a warm and sunny Saturday night it was MOBBED!

A nice sunny day so lots of people out and about, and lots of sailing and surfing so alot of activity in the sea too.

It is such a shame that so much rubbish was on the beach. Otherwise very accessible with lots of ammenities.

Spent a lovely afternoon/evening on Brighton Beach. The beach is pebbly but nice, and there's lots of attractions and places to eat and drink so your spoilt for choice. Took a stroll down towards the old pier where there's more bars and also a little fishing museum which was interesting. The beach was packed during the day but was pleasant to sit for a while in the evening once the crowds had gone! I'd definately return next time I'm in Brighton!

lots of stones on the beach, very popular with couples and youngsters, hard to park at peak times, good for wheelchair users
