We stayed at My Hotel in Brighton for 2 nights in Feb 2013. We stayed in a superior double rather than the standard double as we were travelling with our 3 month old son and we wanted a bit more space. Booking through the hotel online we also got the room at a discounted rated. The room was very nice and clean and the photos we had seen on the website reflected it well. The staff we all very friendly and helpful and made travelling with our son all the more easier.
Although we had all the equipment we needed it was there and offered to us. Brekfast was also very nice and included in our room rate. We booked a car park space for both nights and as spaces are limited I would advise booking in advance. The only negative would be the cost of the car park is expensive but still a bit cheaper than parking elsewhere.

We stayed in Brighton for a friends 40th and had the best hotel by far of all our friends. Great room, very comfy , great staff very friendly. Hotel is bang in the middle of the center of Brighton and is great for restaurants, bars and clubs. The bar in myhotel is buzzing. Would highly recommend it and really want to stay there again soon!

Room Tip: 289 was great

I've been to Brighton loads over the last 20 years and stayed in a fair few of the hotels down there.
This is the best one I've stayed in because the room was spacious and bed very comfy.
The staff on reception were delightful and friendly and interested in our shopping purchases especially our 5 hats!
As others have said, the location of Myhotel is excellent in the North Laines so loads of interesting shops, eateries and things to see right near by.
One item I did raise was re no power point near the mirror. I find loads of hotels do this which is not so good for us ladies doing our hair. Having discussed with a female colleague we suspect hotels are designed by men and forget about our lady business work! Needless to say I phoned reception and discussed hotel designers and this issue and an extension lead was sent to my room in minutes.
Truly a great hotel :)

Room Tip: We chose the third floor so not noisy and you can see over the rooftops of Brighton.

We had to book the Bamboo Suite as we (she!!) wanted a bath in the room and the only rooms with baths are the suites. Expensive at £280.00 per night based on a comparison with a recent stay out in the sticks where we booked a suite at a Gastro Pub however the hotel is is City centre and the rate is comparable to other less modern (read boring) Seafront Hotels. We took the car park option at £25.00 as did not plan to go too far however this means you enter the hotel via the staff access from the underground car park and whilst the smell of the Curry restaurnant is over powering in the car park its also mouth watering.

The hotel is bright and modern but showing signs fo wear and tear as the the Suite. A lick of paint and refresh of the soft furnishings is very much required to maintain the expectation of booking a suite.

We had to plug the kettle in by the door to the room as we could not locate another suitable plug!

The full Sky package was non existant - accounts had not apparently re newed the licence so the car park charge was removed by way of compensation.

Staff all very friendly and attended to issues very quickly.

Bed very comfortable and bath a real luxury with a great view at night. Take you own candles for a romantic one - hotel show in picture but do not provide.

Amenities very nice.

This is one of our favourite hotels in the world. The rooms are great, with suites that are some of the best you'll see anywhere (unless you like lavish opulence and traditional design), the bar has a great staff, great drinks list and a great feel and it is perfectly situated in Brighton.

It is good value for the quality and is big enough to have good facilities, whilst being small enough to feel inviting.

Do yourself (and your significant other) a favour and book a stay!

Room Tip: Try and get a suite if you can afford it and can get it booked!

In Brighton stay at the seaside or "up the hill" . This "up the hill" hotel is near the Dome, Pavillion, the Lanes (shopping area) and lots of restaurants and other fantastic shopping and strolling. The place goes with its psychedelic vibe but the beds are comfy, service friendly, breakfast at the attached coffee shop pretty darn good although casual. The bathroom is open - while the toilet is in its own room the sink and shower are only around a curved wall. Fine for a single and could be nice for a sexy feature for a couple. (NOT for sharing with a platonic) Love the ability to pipe your own MP3 music in the room and the wi-fi is a plus. Beds great!!

We stayed in the hotel on the night that Sussex ground to a halt because of the snow. The hotel is perfectly located for wandering around the laines and all the main attractions. There a lots of lovely coffee shops and independent stores within a few minutes walk. We had been allocated the room suitable for disabled guests as it was a little larger than most. The room was very funky but had been designed by an artistic director rather than someone who understand the basic needs of a hotel room. For instance there was no plug by the desk and the light switch to the bathroom was located by the entrance to the room rather than by the bathroom. Not ideal if you need to go to the loo in the night. The bathroom was huge but the sink was tiny and there was no where to put makeup . The bed was wonderful but there were no bedside tables and no clock . The hotel service was excellent. I forgot my blackberry charger and they found an array of different charges for me to use. The coffee shop that is linked to the hotel is fantastic. The best latte I have had in years. It would be great for a romantic weekend
