I can recommend this tearoom without hesitation. The best scones I have ever tasted...and I have tasted a few including The Ritz!! Friendly staff made it a most enjoyable experience too.
The date slice is worth the cycle there!! Personal service and it hits the spot! Oh, the hot chocolate also helps the date slice go down. You can even get a takeaway for later!
We sat in the sunny window seat, and enjoyed a morning cuppa. Fresh, crisp white crockery matched well the fresh modern feel to the décor. Service was excellent, and very friendly. Will visit again.
I took my sister here for a treat and wow! you need to be hungry. This is a lovely tearoom, with a small outdoor garden which you can sit in.The open sandwiches are the biggest I have ever seen or had with a good choice. I chose the Gammon and Tomatoe which was overflowing with fresh salad and a mustard dressing. My sister chose the cheese scone which was gigantic and came with cheese slices chutney and mixed salad. All the ingredients are so fresh. It is well worth a visit. The staff are very friendly too and the service is very quick.
