A group of dads, plenty of sunshine, lots of food and beverage and miles of walking made up for a very relaxed stay at the Deans Place Hotel, in Alfriston, Sussex.
The staff were very attentive, the rooms were well maintained and the food was on the whole very good. A recommended place to stay for the weekend, which is situated on the outskirts of the village.
The small quaint town was very picturesque and has many pubs to enjoy a relaxed drink and decent food. Nearby in is where the world famous Banoffi Pie was invented and needless to say, it tasted good!
You're in a great spot for walking to the coast line; Beechy Head, Seven Sisters, Birling Gap Beach and local canoeing.
The hotel has an outdoor heated swimming pool but was not open on our arrival. Take your swim gear, if you go.
