We had a Fantastic weekend stay at the perfect Cresslands !!! We arrived to a very warm welcome from Louise along with a log fire burning and a superb welcome pack which included the best homemade cake I have ever eaten !!! Everything about this place is perfect !! From the location, the welcome, fabulous decor throughout , comfy beds and crisp sheets, log fires, to the beautiful surroundings including a lovely local pub ! I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a place for a romantic weekend or a family get together !!! Really stunning !!

“Fabulous”
Reviewed September 11, 2016 for a stay in September 2016

What a fabulous 2 night stay we've just had at Cressland. The location is perfect, the house was AMAZING, and the finishing touches were so thoughtful and perfect. We were lucky enough to spend time in the lovely garden in the sunshine. Louise, the property owner, couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming and the welcome hamper provided exceeded all expectations with everything we could have needed and more. Kersey is the quaintest, loveliest of villages in a great location.
Dinner on Saturday night in The Bell (recommend booking in advance), 2 doors away from Cressland, was lovely. What a great pub and what a warm welcome we recieved, before our lovely meal. Overall the best weekend - just a shame it went too quickly, but I'm sure we'll be back.

“Perfect for a relaxing family break”
Reviewed November 7, 2015 for a stay in October 2015

The cottage was beautifully presented, immaculate with special touches, eg fresh flowers, and a welcome basket full of local produce. Louise and Pascoe provided everything you need for a home from home experience, with a great log fire set and ready to light. The location is chocolate box - a small village packed with lovely cottages and a friendly pub a couple of doors away serving delicious food - what more could you want?

“One word....WOW”
Reviewed May 26, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Where do I start?! A beautiful grade ll listed country retreat in the most idyllic setting. A few friends and I rented this wonderful house as a surprise get away for my husbands 30th birthday. We honestly couldn't have asked for any better. Kersey is ideally situated to some of the best places to visit in Suffolk, and the town it's self is just picture perfect.

Louise made was so helpful from start to finish (and a great secret keeper!), a beautiful local welcome basket - very well received, wonderful fluffy robes in every room, the kitchen, bathrooms and all the bedrooms well stocked and very comfortable. I honestly can not rate this house highly enough, I could babble on for days about it!

My one and only complaint - we didn't book for long enough, lesson learnt for next time ey?! Make sure you book a long lengthy stay as two night just isn't enough! Thank you so much to Louise for a beautiful, memory filled weekend. P.S I'm sorry if we were a bit loud.

“Great for Christmas”
Reviewed December 29, 2014 for a stay in December 2014

A beautifully presented cottage, tastefully decorated for Christmas by the owner. Excellent welcome hamper. Fabulous setting near a ford in the old village of Kersey. Local pub a few doors up the hill, Very clean, well equipped (but see below) and comfy beds. The owners are lovely and very helpful. We stayed for the Christmas week but the cottage would be a great location in spring and summer, great for walking and just chilling out.

PS: bring your own veg peeler!!

“lovely house with everything you could ask for!”
Reviewed November 13, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

A beautiful traditional old house , which has all the mod cons you need aswell. Pretty bedrooms, really comfortable beds and lovely farmhouse kitchen. The top attic bathroom did smell a little musty and definitely not for small kids or old people due to steep stair case. Lots of lovely touches including delicious welcome basket !

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on Cressland and for your very kind comments. I am so pleased you enjoyed the cottage. We did have a leak in the bathroom radiator, which has been replaced and the musty smell has now disappeared. Kind regards, Louise
