“Absolutely fantastic accommodation in a perfect location.”
Reviewed June 4, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We visit Swanage at least three times a year from Coventry.
This is the first time we've stayed at Sarah and Simon's two bedroom cottage and quite frankly, we've never stayed anywhere so perfect in England. The cottage has everything a family could possibly need.
Sarah kept in touch with me via e-mail, phone and text message from the moment we booked. We were overwhelmed by her kindness and hospitality. She even left us a Wedding card and bottle of Prosecco in the fridge!Forgot to mention, we were visiting Swanage on this occasion to get married there!
Swanage is very hilly in parts. So much so that you often need an oxygen mask to reach some of the b & bs and apartments. However, Sarah & Simon's cottage is ideally situated right in the very heart of Swanage, in for us, the best place. The sea front is less than a minute's level walk away and the lovely beach no more than two to three minutes. There's a lovely balcony area to sit and watch the World go by and a handy convenience store across the road from the front door.
Parking in Swanage can be problematic, but there's a dedicated parking spot behind the property which is very secluded. This part of Swanage can be quite bustling, but when it is, the double glazing shuts out all the noise.
Sadly, we are leaving for home today but one day we hope to make Swanage our home. (In our dreams at the moment!). We could easily live in Sarah's cottage. Thank you so much for a lovely holiday/ honeymoon, Sarah.

“Idilic location! Clean and well looked after.”
Reviewed April 21, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

I stayed here early April with my 2 teenagers, sister and niece. Perfect location just off the High Street and a couple of minutes stroll to the beach.
Accommodation is very well equipped with all home comforts including dishwasher!!
Beds very comfortable - even the sofa bed.
No garden, but a roof top area that lets you sit and enjoy the sunshine.
I would recommend this accommodation and would stay again for sure.

“Great location - very well equipped house”

My sister and I got back from Swanage last night after a great long weekend. The property was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped.

The location could not be better - so close to the sea and many beautiful walks as well as pubs, restaurants and shops etc. We arrived too late for the normal key pick up but the owner arranged for someone to meet us at the property - very helpful.

Having a parking space in the heart of Swanage really helps.

“The perfect location”
Reviewed January 3, 2015 for a stay in August 2014

My wife and I (with 2 young kids in tow) stayed here in August 2014 for a delightful week exploring Swanage and the surrounds.

Helpful instructions giving a detailed route in to find the car park were a good start, as was the ease of picking up the key. We were in and getting settled very quickly.

The flat is well decorated and very tidy, eveything looks new and well cared for. A large lounge / dining room area, more than functional kitchen, 2 good sized rooms (1 twin, 1 double) and a small roof terrace. We had glorious weather for our week, but had it been raining, there would have been enough space for games with the kids etc.

The main draw though HAS to be the location. Walking out of the door you are on the main street already (towards the pier end). Less than a minute to the quayside and only 2-3 minutes to the beach. Definitely close enough that we were happy to pop back to the flat to pick up bits rather than carry everything we 'might' need around with us all day.

Swanage and the surrounds are absolutely delightful, perfect for families with younger children as there aer a lot of different types of activities to do. Our week was topped by the carnival procession which we watched into the night from the roof terrace.

We would definitely go back!

Absolutely wonderful, spotless very well equipped and couldn't be better situated for all the best bits of Swanage. Four adults, two kids and two dogs, without exception all had a wonderful time.
Swanage has always been a favourite for me since childhood made all the more now by our stay here.
One word EXCELLENT!
Don't delay book soon or I may just beat you to it for a return visit, I can't wait.

Swanage has been a favourite of mine since childhood, made all the more special by our stay here.
Four adults two children and two dogs without exception enjoyed every minute of our stay, due to the excellent level of accommodation. Spotless, well equipped and couldn't be any more central to all the good parts of Swanage. Totally recommend it, book soon or I might beat you to it.

“Well located, clean, fully equiped and comfortable.”
Reviewed October 10, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

My wife and I stayed with our seven month old baby and had a great time. The house was clean, well equipped and had a spacious reception room. The bed rooms were a good size but we had to do a spot of rearranging to fit our cot in.

The house is very centrally located so we never had to walk for more than a few minutes to find somewhere to eat or to get to the beach. Despite its proximity to the centre we never had any problem with noise thought bear in mind we were there during the week in October. The kitchen had everything we needed and the fresh milk, tea and coffee provided on arrival were welcome after a long drive. There is a Budgens and a Co-op within walking distance which was great for when eating at the house.

The provided parking space was definitely useful but you do have to walk around the corner to get to it. The provided DVD player, Wi-Fi and smart television were also great assets.
