Great place to go for a drink and meet the locals. Some of the bar staff could do with looking a bit smarter and serving customers a bit more quickly but apart from that its fantastic. The food cannot be beaten on cost and is good quality. A must is you visit Sherborne.

This is one of the little gems of Sherborne, a proper pub full of amazing local beverages. It might look a bit local from the outside but I have always found the atmosphere to be incredibly friendly and welcoming. Beverage wise it is constantly changing but always a good selection of Real local ales to be enjoyed and very reasonably priced too!

This is the locals pub, it has more character than most pubs and history to boot. If you like spoons, don't go here, its a proper pub. The staff are very good and Sarah is our favorite. Always has an array of real guest ales on tap and my favorite cider, Cornish Rattler.

We called into this gem of a pub after visiting a local dentist, and were most pleasantly surprised. I din't think pubs like this existed any more, real pubs, not 'gastro pubs'! This pub has retained all of its original charm and atmosphere and it seems very popular with locals. The drinks are very reasonably priced, a good enough reason to visit in itself, but on looking at the menu we were astonished at the prices. You can still get a Jacket potato here for under £3.00! They have an extensive snack menu also a larger lunch menu. I had scampi with chips and salad which cost only £4.00 and was very nice, a good portion and served quickly and was offered sauces and condiments. My partner had an 8oz rump steak which cost only £4.50 and he stated it was delicious. He is still raving about it now! We will certainly make a point of visiting the Digby Tap on future visits to Sherborne. All in all, a welcome experience and we can thoroughly recommend it.
