Hotel looks great - very new and modern. Myself and my family were made to feel very welcome at check in. Room was clean and well presented upon arrival (later noticed that underneath the single bed had not been hovered).Plenty of lighting and power sockets (there was no remote control for the television so had to go to reception, who in turn had to take one from another room). Only issue is the lack of car parking. The underground car park was full so had to pay to park my car in the council car park which was not ideal. If it hadn't been for this I would have rewarded 5 stars. I would recommend the hotel in the future.

This hotel is just down the road from the Dorchester South train station and around 10 minutes walk from Dorchester West so perfect positioning. The receptionist checked us in immediately without trying to insist on us using the self service system as some Premier Inns do.

Rooms are the standard design, which does get a little boring after staying in a few of them, but at least you know what you're getting! A little more storage would not go amiss though. The fact that it's a new hotel also was a benefit with the decor still having a fresh feel to it. All surfaces appeared clean too which is always a good sign.

As we were out and about every day we didn't have chance to test the restaurant or breakfast. In Brewery Square there are all sorts of places to eat instead and it's a short walk into the centre of Dorchester. There is still a lot of building work going on but the main part of it is nicely hidden behind boards and the noise certainly didn't intrude.

My main gripe with Premier Inns in general is the lack of free WiFi. If a local B&B and even the Ibis Budget hotels can offer free WiFi in all rooms why can't Premier Inn??? Luckily this isn't enough to deter me as you can get 30 minutes per day free, but I do look to other hotels first now to see which will work out best value. If I was in Dorchester again though, I would definitely stay here without a doubt.

We stayed for 2 nights. Great location in new development - lots of restaurants and underground parking available. Great value for money and very comfortable. Welcoming and child friendly! Will definitely return.

Brilliant Hotel, New Clean and Modern would defiantly recommend to everyone. Check inn was quick staff were friendly. Breakfast is pricey but expected lovely position and some great restaurants around hotel (recommend Zizzi's) We had a parking space underneath the hotel and payed £6 for the 3 nights which was donated to Great Ormond St Hospital much better then giving it to the local council (Great Idea by the travel lodge. Myself my wife and out 8 month old son had a great break.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights early in August while exploring the local Dorset attractions. We like Premier Inn over other budget chains and this is a new unit so very well presented. It is set in the new Brewery Square development just outside the town but only yards from the mainline station. Check-in was easy and we were lucky to have been able to park outside as parking is very limited although there is a public car park within 100 yards. Room spacious and clean. We ate in the restaurant one night but the menu is limited, there are however numerous other options in the development. Excellent value for money. Would certainly recommend.

Brilliant hotel! Check in was smooth, parking space easy to find, room was lovely and clean and breakfast was fab! Overall it was an excellent stay and the staff were really lovely. The hotel is also in a really lovely area! There's a handful of lovely restaurants round the corner, a huge water thing where the kids could play and a Costa Coffee. It's also walking distance to the shops in Dorchester.

Stayed one night on return from sporting trip. Good location for ferry, close to Weymouth port. VERY hard to find as not signposted from main road and satnav didn't recognise the address.
This is a brand new Prem on a new development or flats, retail units and restaurants, cinema etc. (building works still going on) on the site of the old Dorchester Brewery. Restaurant/Cafe in hotel has a poor selection of food but there are lots of places to eat practically next door. No toilets on restaurant floor level which we found an inconvenience, you have to go down a floor. Rooms were clean and staff were pleasant. There is no parking at the hotel. They have a small amount of spaces allocated in the underground carpark and these have to be pre-booked but there is some public parking at the Station and across the road. Booked a family room and only the double bed was made up.
