We found this hotel by using the search facility on TomTom. It is a bit 'out of town' and when you arrive, you find a small restaurant with plastic table cloths. We were a bit sceptical but decided to go ahead and eat. I have eaten a lot of Chinese food but I would say that this was the best Chinese food that I have ever eaten. Please don't be put off by the decor, you will miss something very special.

Good restaurant, recommended by hotel owner. Not in touristy area and the tables have plastic tablecloths, so not posh. Also very small so you may have to wait for a table, but the food is worth waiting for. Tasty, plentiful and good value. They also seem very happy to pack up any left over food for you to take away - lots of students were doing this.

If I am honest, this place consistently serves better dim sum than the Ocean Palace. Best prawn and chive dumpling ever. Good cheung fun. Excellent hot and sour soup. Main courses are authentically Cantonese and are generous which is a draw back if only one or two are eating since it limits selection.
It is always full of Chinese which should be recommendation enough.
Very reasonably priced, this is a very simple and rather small establishment, but not to be missed if you are in the vicinity.

We arrived to an empty restaurant at 10pm and they happily welcomed our table of 7 without a booking. The interior is rather basic which made me expect a poor experience yet it was a really enjoyable meal. The food was absolutely delicious and I would strongly recommend it. I think its main business is takeaway so expect minimal thrills dining in terms of decor yet the food and service are entirely worth it.
