I found out about the amarillo whilst viewing a website about the gay scene in bournemouth, as it was recommended as gay friendly. I stayed with my partner for 5 nights and we were both very happy with our stay. The double room was clean and furnished to very high standards, with lots of nice touches. The accomodation is owned and managed by two lovely guys who were so helpful and welcoming. The quality of the breakfast was also excellent. Very handy location for the railway and beaches.

We couldn't get in at the place we usually go to, so a friend recommended the Amarillo. We had no idea what it woud be like, they satd it was 'nice'.
What a lovely surprise! This is a boutique style hotel without the boutique prices. Tastefully decorated in the bedrooms as well as the public areas.
There was excellent choice for breakfast form juice to pane chocolate, to the full English on hot plates and not greasy.
The proprietors Rob and Paul were very attentive especially to our 88 year old Mum. They couldn't do enough for us and we were very sad to leave. Standard very high, friendly , caring and welcoming. We will definately go back again and again.

Just returned from a 2 night stay after visiting Bournemouth for a wedding.
Fantastic boutique style b&b but not boutique prices..
Great attention to detail, nothing to much trouble. Lovely decor to the room and bathroom.
plenty of free parking outside and safe area.
wonderful breakfast and plenty to eat.
Rob was a great host, thanks for the tip on the villages to visit in the New Forest on way home.
Would highly recommend the Amarillo as a great place to stay and would not hesitate to return again.

My stay at the Amarillo was very enjoyable and the hosts made it that much better. The room and bathroom were very clean and even during the cold nights the place was warm. It is near the beach and also close to town which is a great thing. All in all I had a great stay and I would advise anyone else going to bournemout to stay there.

Thank you Rob and Paul for a great stay.

recently stayed at Amarillo hotel with my 2 grown up children and also my brother and partner along with his young daughter of 8. Had a wonderful week. The food was good the rooms excellent cleaned every day with a change of towels and bed linen. The owners were very friendly and helpful with lots of advise about the area for those of us who hadn't visited before. My husband and I also asked about living in the area of dorset as we are thinking of moving soon and the owners gave us lots of advise of villages to look at etc.
Overall a great weeks holiday and cetainly be looking to stay again. 5* treatment plus
