The old style decor, a blue patterned carpet with dim lighting and cheap pictures hanging on he wall induced a sense of nostalgia! But the food was tasty, my lamb madras had good heat whilst the peshwari naan was just right. This is the best Indian restaurant I have sampled in Westbourne. Will definitely go back.

Remember those old fashioned Indian restaurants of the seventies and eighties? Well this is one of them. Nothing special about anything it offers, except good tasting food served in an old fashioned way. Unpretentious and worth a visit once in a while.

I had a very nice meal at this restaurant one Sunday evening.
Quick service, nothing was too much trouble and the food was very tasty!
I will definitely eat here again!

We turned up at 9 pm on saturday and was seated straightaway. fast service( unlike other indian s in westbourne.) only down fall was a screaming toddler....which spoiled the ambience a little. However the tikka masala was delicious as was the korma. good value, traditional restaurant we will visit again!

Stumbled across this restaurant last night on a walk through Westbourne. It wasn't busy and could get a table easily. Both of us had a Biryani and a naan, poppadums and a side dish between us. The food was very tasty and plentiful, the service was friendly (the owner was a nice chap and greeted people warmly on their arrival) and if it was more full I imagine the atmosphere would have been great. According to the menu the restaurant has been there over 46 years - you don't get to be around that long if you are no good.

Total bill with a beer each was £44.

I would recommend it, definitely.
