We booked the Chocolate Boutique Hotel for our hen party as the bride to be is a dedicated chocoholic. The hotel really didn't dissapoint! With so many chocolate eating opportunities all of the hens were delighted, and Gerry was the most wonderful, accommodating and attentive host. Not to mention patient with our large and disorganised group! All of the rooms are beautifully decorated and every hen in the party complemented me on the choice. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend for anyone looking for a memorable break.

My husband and I stayed in The Chocolate Boutique Hotel for a romantic Valentine's night away. We stayed in the Truffle Suite and it really was amazing. The bed was the biggest bed I have ever seen! The shower was also amazing, plenty of room for 2!
There's plenty of onsite parking and the location is very central, just a few minutes from the Bournemouth Gardens and the town centre.
My Husband surprised me with a chocolate fountain in our room which was just delicious. There are also little chocolates around the room. We looked at doing a chocolate course that the hotel offers but found them to be very pricey.
The breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and the breakfast room was lovely, light and airy, with views of the gardens.
We were a little disappointed that the bar wasn't open, but maybe it was because it was a Sunday and or/out of season. Still a shame, I wanted to try the chocolate cocktail!
We only stayed 1 night but I wish we'd stayed longer, we will definately be back!

Just came back from organising my sister's hen weekend. we stayed at this hotel and i am delighted to say that this hotel is the most beautiful and comfy hotel ever!!!! all rooms and decorated lovely and not mention the free chocolate in the rooms which are just lush!!!.
Jerry and team were fantastic and made this weekend so special for all 26 ladies. I've never stayed in a hotel where the staff we're sooo polite and soooo helpful and they also made us feel at home.. i could have lived in this hotel ;o). The breakfast was really nice and loved every bit of it. We also asked them arrange lunch for, in which once again was so nice and tasty and there was something for everyone.

Jerry had also recommended Aruba which is a restaurant on the sea front. He done us proud!!!

From everyone at Keeley's Hen weekend, we'd just like to say thank you for all you help and hospitality.

This is not a hotel - we stayed in the White Chocolate Twin Bedroom and it was cheaply done out with soft beds and furnishings from cheap shops. I have stayed in better youth hostels/backpackers, and certainly B&B's. The room was less than a B&B standard and very disappointing. The twin room is not of hotel standard; and should not be advertised as such. The beds were that soft, I fell out of mine when I turned over. Chocolate tasted waxy and was worse than cooking chocolate. Breakfast was lovely and the Garden English and charming.

My husband adores chocolate, so was a perfect choice for a romantic getaway for our wedding anniversary. We arrived to a warm welcome (and lots of chocolate). Our room was perfectly located above the garden and was light and airy. We loved the chocolate-themed wallpaper and of course all the lovely chocolate. As it was our anniversary I had pre-ordered a bottle of cava, which was waiting in our room perfectly chilled and was very nice! Also for an additionally fee, we ordered a chocolate fountain - which was so much fun - strawberries and marshmallows provided! The bar area was very modern looking and was well stocked - the owners were very warm and welcoming and knowledgeable of the area and of course chocolate. Breakfast was spot on, and as the hotel is located close to the beach, we were able to walk off the chocolate, the meal from the night before (Cuccinis in the centre - pricey, but worth it for a celebration) as well as the breakfast.!

I travelled down to bournemouth with two friends of mine. Myself and one other friend decided to stay in the Chocolate Hotel as it sounded querky and a bit of fun... and that it was. We were welcomed by a very friendly young lady, although that was the one and only time we met her. The chocolate fountain at the entrance was a nice touch - just a shame only had marshmallows to dunk in it. Room was pleasant, clean and tidy, a little on the small side but didnt require lots of space as only used the room as somewhere to sleep. Downsides to the hotel - beds are very creaky and as walls are thin can hear the beds in other rooms, toilet didnt flush great and sink didnt seem to want to drain, blinds in the windows werent great at keeping the sun out. Upsides - chocolate in the bedroom, which was topped up every day, windows that opened, Comfy beds and variety of options for breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Overall a nice, querky place to stay for a weekend, may even visit again

Turning in off the street into the hotel car park I was glad to see spaces, four, in the quite small car park as the streets surrounding this place are choca (no pun intended) and any closer to the sea all the roads have double yellows (although local opinion on how strictly they're enforced seems divided).

The hotel is completely locked up, you have to ring to be let in, we had a brief wait as the owner was apparently shirtless on our arrival. After the usual welcome, advice on breakfast times, the fact the bar area would only be opened if we specifically requested it, pointers to what were obviously his mate's restaurants etc we went up to our room (no lift), the Maya. This is a nice bright room and unlike chain hotels the windows open all the way so it was nice and airy...this is good because the room has a rather cramped feel to it: Only one side of the bed has a bedside cabinet and the shower room / toilet is minute (no shaver point by the way, lads). On the dressing table a sign advises to be considerate as due to the construction of the hotel noise travels...and it certainly does. Over the three days we were there we became quite used to our neighbours arriving back at 11:30pm, having a chat, moving furniture (or so it sounded), being intimate, shall we say, stopping to move a bit more furniture then carrying on for another 5 minutes. Not really what you want to hear while trying to "get away from it all".

The breakfast room has a certain "school canteen" feel to it but is nice enough, no complaints and both the "Full English" and chocolate pancakes were good starters for the day.

The hotel has wifi but the password in the hotel's in-room literature is in the wrong format, there are actually no spaces and no capitals, the owner didn't seem to think this mattered...it does.

My biggest disappointment was, frankly, Bournemouth itself. The beach is nice, they even comb the sand with tractors, and we enjoyed an afternoon in the Oceanarium then a walk back through the gardens but that's all there is to it basically, and it is possible to quite easily find yourself in some less than desirable streets nearby, I'd certainly be very careful where I walked at night and for this reason I think the price charged is the absolute maximum the hotel could get away with so I value it as average at best. It was fun, a bit unusual and cleaner and in a better state than a lot of B&B places I've stayed but on leaving I did feel a real "OK, been there, done that" feeling and doubt very much we would return.
