This was a few days away in Bournemouth after celebrating our Golden Wedding as we had honeymooned in this resort! The hotel was clean and we were welcomed by a friendly receptionist. We had reserved the Aztec room which was on the front of the hotel overlooking the street. A few 'little' things disappointed us eg. the blinds were broken and the window frame was in a dreadful state, the curtains didn't pull without the hooks falling off, the duvet only just covered the bed a larger size would have been much more comfortable and we got neck-ache while sitting on the sofa to watch some TV on a rainy evening! The bathroom was lovely and modern but the water wouldn't stay in the basin, super deep bath and lovely toiletries.Brealfast was great with plenty of choice for even the most choosey and the staff were friendly. Thankfully I booked ear;y so got quite a good deal I would not have been happy paying any more for the accommodation. Location was OK but we did have difficulty finding the hotel as the map I printed from the hotel web-site was not at all clear and no written instructions. I did leave my criticisms on the questionairre so hope they have been attended to.
