Description: Cuccinis has been established for over 24 years in Bournemouth and is one of the most popular Italian Restaurants and Live Jazz Bars in Bournemouth town. The decor is warm and inviting with special attention to lighting. We pride ourselves on quality food and service and we also have live music nights which are always popular with locals and visitors to Bournemouth. It's definitely worth calling or emailing us to check the Live Music schedule whenever arranging your booking. The restaurant is ideal for a romantic night, a birthday bash or any special occasion. We also have a conservatory area which is ideal for those corporate functions and have also had many wedding receptions here. We've been told by so many customers that we are more intimate than a hotel venue and has proved to be a real success during wedding events. Whatever night you are planning Cuccinis can accommodate you for many different occasions.

Living not far from Cuccini's restaurant me and my boyfriend often passed it by and being attracted with all the lights and nice decorations wanted to come there one day for a romantic meal. We came there on Friday night and it was not that busy and we askd for a table for too but had to wait for ages to be given a table though lots of tables were free but a waitresses attacked another couple to leave as soon as possible as they were already paying to let us get that table which they occupied before... When we took looked in the mewnu8 the prices were too expensive for an Italian restaurant but we still ordered food expecting smth special. In fact we paid a lot ofd money for redicolously small pizza and another small portion of pasta....Pizza was not tasty at all and had nothing in common with italian pizza as well as pasta was average. Staff was really annoying! Gatheringt behind guests they were staring and talking and as soon as they saw some last bits on our plates they rushed to take our plates as if they wanted us to live as soon as possible! They attacked us asking "have you finished?" which is not good!!!!!! Atmosphere in the restaurat is good but staff is too annoying and it is difficult to feel comfrtable when you are constantly stared or asked! It was our first and last experience there, I wouldn't ever go there again.

Went with a group of friends . Things started well with warm welcome from Iranian owner. Cool jazz being played. Good "romantic" feel to restaurant. However 2 courses took 3 hours on a Saturday night. Only copious drinking kept us sane. Waiting staff not rude but illtrained. They did not know which were serloin steaks & which were fillets or how they were done even though all were required to be cooked differently. Simple requests got quizzical looks. Warning - do not tell owner the meat was not cooked how it was ordered; he knows best. House wines reasonably priced & nice quality. Circa £80 for 2 courses + wine. Not cheap. I know Saturdays are busy but, restauranteurs, stagger bookings if chef cannot cope.

Dear Customer

So sorry to hear about the slow service you experienced on Saturday night and we did infact have a meeting yesterday with the staff prior to seeing your review this morning. It is no excuse whatsoever but feel it does deserve an honest response and let us just say everything that could of happened on that Saturday did! It started famously with first our credit card machine not working on a Saturday evening, then 2 our regular front of house staff not appearing and had to call in others as an emergency who were perhaps not prepared sufficiently and then our poor chef had a drama in the kitchen as well, it truly was one of those days which can happen from time to time, the joys of catering! Again our sincere apologies to you and your guests as we are very passionate about what we do and more than just a job to us all and have been here for many years and like to pride ourselves on good service etc. However thank you for taking the time to let us know your issues as all are taken seriously and any neccessary actions made.

Go there the atmosphere is divine and the staff are warm and friendly.

We ate without any disturbance as the occasion required it, however the cuisine eclipsed the event by a mile but hey what else can you expect......
