“A pleasent stay in a lovely place”
Reviewed May 12, 2013

Where do you start when a stay has been so good.
First of all the welcome we received from Paul & Avril was like visiting old friends, warm and very friendly, nothing was to much trouble throughout the stay.

We were given the Audrey Hepburn room for our 3 night stay, very clean and extremely comfortable(we were asked if we would like a hand with our luggage, which was a nice touch).
The breakfast in the lovely dining room was very enjoyable mixed with extremely funny banter from mein host Paul (he could take it as well as give it).

Even when we left, cuddles and handshakes in abundance helped us on our way.

I know this is my point of view, but give it a go, you certainly won't regret it

Room Tip: Don't quibble about any room, just go and enjoy it

Me and my partner stayed for two nights recently and have already recommended to a friend who is visiting in May.

We would normally stay in a large hotel but fancied a bit of a change as we were only staying two nights. What a little find we made!

Very welcoming owners, free parking, exceptionally clean rooms, nice cooked breakfast and a refreshing gin & tonic in the lounge before heading out to explore.

Located just at the top of the hill, our room overlooking the Balloon ride in the park, we could be at the shops in a 5min walk, and on the pier in 10!

If you like a more personal guest house experience, rather than a hotel chain, give it a try, you'll be glad you did.

Stayed at the Blue Palms in Bournemouth for a conference. It is the best B&B I have stayed in for a long while. The owners are extremely welcoming, accommodating. The rooms are clean, comfortable, a good size and well furnished. Great location for all amenities and has parking. Thoroughly recommend.

There are a few places that you can go to and feel completly welcomed, well, this is one of them. From the moment we first stepped through the front door to the moment we left we were looked after by the nicest of people you could possibly find, Avril and Paul are very special and deserve all the praise that they get.
Our room was homely, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts were superb and plentiful.
Can't wait to go back and see these lovely people again,Thank you both for helping to make our stay special

Room Tip: just book the Blue Palms you won't go wrong

My hubby & I chose Bournemouth for a 4 night break because it isn't commercialised like some other sea-side towns. After looking at loads of Hotels & Guest Houses on Bookings.com, I found the Blue Palms & knew straight away that this was the perfect Hotel for us. A very warm welcome from Avril & Paul, we felt at home straight away. The whole Hotel is spotless, the decor all over as well as the rooms have a Marilyn Monroe, Cary Grant etc. (old film stars) theme. Our room was cosy, warm, beautifully decorated, spotless & comfortable with hairdryrer & tea/coffee making facilities. Room cleaned every day with clean towells, bin emptied & tea/coffee replenished. At breakfast you were extremely well fed, with everything you could possibly wish for, expertly cooked by Avril & served by Paul with loads of humour & banter to give your day a great start. We unfortunately had to leave after just 2 nights as my mother was taken very seriously ill so we had to return home quickly. Yes we will return again, we do very highly recommend this Hotel, it is THE best in Bournemouth!
Thank you so very much to Avril & Paul for being so lovelly & welcoming, for your 1st class hospitality & for your compassion.

Room Tip: No preference, see pics on the Blue Palms website, all rooms are beautiful.
