I fail to understand how this hotel gets its rating! We stayed for 2 nights and that was too long. My husband, son and I checked in and were given a very small double room with no roll out bed for our son - the bed was extremely uncomfortable - basically it was like sleeping on a wooden frame. It was incredibly noisy as our room was at the top of a stair case and the air conditioning units are located on the outside wall directly outside the window - which hummed all night long (avoid room 213). There were insufficient towels and I had to use a hand towel after showering, the complimentary tea & coffee consisted of 1 sachet of coffee, 2 unwrapped tea bags and just 4 milks - none of which were topped up during our stay! Breakfast was chaotic to say the least, day one I was told I could have a veggie breakfast, day two I was told they did not do a veggie breakfast!! The staff sat us at a dirty, unlaid table, whilst they continued to clatter and bang around laying other tables for the following morning! There are extra costs associated with car parking and wifi which were not clear at the time of making the reservation. We were horrified to come back to our room after a day out to find our window had been left open by housekeeping which overlooked a flat roof and other rooms - we had left some very expensive electrical gadgets in our room as there was no safe available, so consider ourselves lucky that our possessions were still there!! All in all, I would not recommend this hotel to backpackers as a hostel! Most dissatisfied!!!!!!!!
