“Wonderful overnight stay”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

What a fantastic place. Quiet, but still within walking distance of the beach and town. The room had nice little touches that made the stay 5-star, like the little fridge in the room with fresh milk for teas and coffees. The area was nice and quiet, so sleep was not disturbed. Would thoroughly recommend this for a weekend away in Bournemouth, will hopefully be going back soon.

Stayed at theCoach House Cottage for one night only and our first impressions were how homely it felt, the conservatory attached was an added bonus.Very clean, mini fridge with fresh milk and water and a variety of tea, coffee etc. Jackie the owner was friendly and welcoming. Fresh fruit so we could help ourselves and breakfast was served in our conservatory (spoilt)The bed was superking and comfortable, collection of Dvd's to watch at your leisure. We would definitely recommend staying here to all and if we ever returned to Bournemouth would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Choose room 1 with the conservatory

Booked coach house cottage for the night as our daughter is at uni and wanted somewhere homely, away from large busy hotels and the like.

It really feels like a home away from home with a super king bed. In the morning you get greeted by a knock on the door and Jackie there with your breakfast which you can have in your own conservatory, so no need for small talk at the toaster.

So will we return? Damn right!

Thank you for taking the time to write your kind comments.

Hope the journey back was ok in the snow although we were let off very lightly here. The Geraniums are still flowering!

Now I know where to stay next time when we come to Bournemouth, It has to be the best place to stay in the area, spotlessly clean and well equipped there is everything you need in the room and plenty of tea and coffee etc... We loved our stay and will be returning in the near future.

Room Tip: we had both rooms as we were staying with friends and they are equally as good.

Stayed at the Coach House Cottage for 3 nights, after driving down from London on a rainy, cold night. Had a lovely welcome from Jackie and was given the key to our own conservatory which was warm and cosy. Here there was a mini fridge with fresh milk an abundance of different teas and coffees, biscuits and fresh fruit. Being our anniversary, we also had a bottle of Champagne and chocolates upon our arrival. The conservatory led into our room, which had one of the biggest beds we had ever seen, this too was warm and cosy, well-furnished and had everything we could possibly need. A large TV and DVD a great selection of DVD,s . There were also, books, brochures and a really comprehensive manual giving all the information regarding local restaurants and attractions.
There was a great choice for breakfast and Jackie brought this to us at a time of our choosing. This was served in the conservatory and was delicious. There is an Iron should you need it and nothing is too much trouble, Jackie was a fantastic host throughout the whole of our stay. I must write a special mention to Izzy , who I would have to name the ‘Friendliest Cat in the World’ she is totally adorable and we will miss her very much. We have stayed in many big hotels in the past, but none have given us anywhere near the personal service that we received at the Coach House, thanks Jackie for giving us the rest and relaxation we needed. Darren & Terri Drake x

Room Tip: Thr ground floor room has its own conservatory and entrance.

My wife and I recently stayed here for a short break. This was our second visit in 2 years and this latest visit was every bit as enjoyable as the first. We had the downstairs room with the conservatory. Really comfortable and quiet and an excellent central location. Very well looked after by our hostess, Jackie with fresh fruit and bottled water replenished daily, and breakfast served to us at the time of our choosing in the conservatory. Highly recommended

Only stayed the one night (we'd travelled down to see our football team play Bournemouth) but it was top class. Quiet and secluded location, very friendly and hospitable hostess (Jackie). There's only two rooms but we had the first floor room which was spacious with an enormous bed, two comfortable armchairs, flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, bowl of fresh fruit, and breakfast of your choice delivered to your room at the time you wish (within reason). Couldn't ask for more, really. We drew the football match, by the way.
