Absolutely nothing positive to say about this hotel. You know its bad when they refund your deposit without you asking., and when we complained about the rooms the receptionist said, "Well we better not show you the others then".
We arrived and had nowhere to park due to a wedding reception. Rather than help us they made us go across the road to see if we could park at a neighbouring hotel.
The hotel appeared to be understaffed. Our family had booked three double rooms. I echo the comments of other reviewers, the faults with the rooms were endless - dirty towels in the room, damp mould on the ceiling, dirty floors, cobwebs everywhere, stained walls, broken lights, bed cover which was too small for the bed etc. etc
We asked to see a couple of other rooms which were equally as bad, if not worse. I urge people not to stay here, there are far superior hotels in Bournemouth at a similar price. Fortunately we were delighted with the hotel we found afterwards and our weekend was not ruined.
'Boutique' means individual, intimate or quirly - I can assure you this hotel does not come close to 'botique' status.More
