“Worth a walk”
Reviewed February 1, 2013

Most piers are the same but a walk to the end of the pier when it is free in winter is fine. Would not pay to go on the pier during the summer unless I was going fishing.

“Bournemouth Pier”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

The Pier and surrounding area is very tacky with 'fairground' rides etc. This part of Bournemouth used to be very attractive with plant and flower containers instead of 'merry-go-rounds'. Thankfully, the Imax building is to be removed as it is probably the most hated building in the South - if not the UK! (completely obscuring the sea view from the eastern approach.)

“End of the Pier Coffee”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

In this really cold spell why not walk to the end of the pier to get a smashing coffee at reasonable price, nice and warm in the restaurant and great sea views. The pier is free this time of year so another bonus. One of the best coffee's along the long promenade as said by a local regular walker.
