Stayed here last week beginning October. This was a complete surprise of a hotel and I will be using it again soon. On arrival it's complicated to find the entrance to the car park. It is literally on the roundabout and feels like you are going to drive through reception as you have to drive over pavement and across the front door. Reception was pleasant and felt a lot more than its 3star rating. The stairs and restaurant had a country club feel to it with rich materials and grandure. My room was on the 3rd floor with a sea view of sorts. The rooms are I'm guessing why this is a 3 and not a 4 star hotel, there is nothing wrong with my room it was perfectly clean and well maintained however the bed side table was on a crazy slope due to the floor. The highlight for me was the bar tender in the 1812 bar who was so knowlageble about cocktails and drinks and I guess this bar can get busy during season. All in all I had a great stay and will be returning with my wife as this was my first trip to Bournemouth and found it beautifully presented for a quick weekend away from London as a posed to the grotty ness of Brighton. Be warned students do take over the town on some nights.

Only spent 1 night in this hotel, but was treated and felt like we had been there all week! Great location and great service from all the staff, very friendly and helpful.

Hotel is a 3 star and that is reflected in some of the decor/furnishings, just looking a bit tired really, but it does say rooms are due to be refurbished. No problem with cleanliness though.

As said earlier, car park is quite difficult to spot, it took us 3 times to find it and it would help if the buzzer/intercom was next to the barrier, but a minor gripe really.

The location is superb, just a couple minutes to pier and beach in one direction, and the same to the main pedestrian areas of the town.

Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here last night for one night.

Was very impressed with the service throughout our stay. Staff went out of their way to cater for my gluten free friend.

Amazing cocktail bar, they even made us a piña colada which wasn't on the menu, yummy!

Location is excellent, right opposite the bic.

The car park is slightly difficult to find, you need to drive into the front of the hotel, is doesn't look like a driveway which is why it can be misleading.

Will definitely use again!

Just returned from the Royal Exeter Hotel.Had a lovely stay there for one night. Brilliant if your going to the BIC. All the staff were friendly.Food great and good parking. Only critisism was the noise of the bars at night in our room and the some of the staff at breakfast who did not understand too much English. We would certainly stay there again

Room Tip: Expect some noise at the weekend but do eat in the restaurant

Awfull place to stay, way too noisy, every floorboard squeaks at 100db and the attached nightclub will keep the windows rattling into the small hours.

Food is biblically bad, breakfast is a heaped pile of tasteless trash from the aldi value range.

There is no way I'd stay here again and I'd only reccomend it to deaf couples with no taste buds.

Room Tip: Just don't stay here in the first place. If you are tied up and forced too then try to get a roo...
