I do not usually do reviews but felt it was important to share our experience. We spent two nights and three days at Trouville with a Masonic Lodge gathering of over 100 people. On arrival we felt it was a little tired in decor and furnishing. You soon forget about that as the service, standard of food and overall friendliness was the best we have received over the years. Really good value for money. Following a trip to the toilet our daughter could not find us. She was reassured by the staff and taken directly to us without hesitation. I would recommend this venue for large groups, young families and couples looking for a warm welcome and affordable break. Great work ! The children give it a thumbs up!

Stayed here while visiting Dughter at Uni. Great location with free parking nice freindly bar staff and reception.
The main problem is that as soon as anybody moves about in the room above you if felt like the whole hotel was moving, this meant quite a disturbed nights sleep. The Hotel reallys needs updating all over with the rooms also being a bit dated.
Would i stay here again probably not as there so many hotels in Bournemouth to choose from.

I stayed 2 nights at the hotel in January. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Plenty of free parking next to the hotel. The swimming pool is a good size and warm water, gym is small but adequate. The best thing about the hotel is the staff at reception and in the bar. Very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to answer some additional questions I had.

After staying at this hotel for the best part of 3 months i shall be leaving for more appreciating places. As a contractor it seems we are to be tainted by the same brush as the not wanted here but we will gladly take your money. I was quite happy up until the point that i forgot to pay a £8 bar bill on my departure ( no one at the front desk to pay on the morning ) i was told that i would not be able to charge food or drink to my room anymore. This to me seems to say that i cannot be trusted which is surprising as i have been here for such a long time, well i shall now take my hard earned money elsewhere. The staff on general are very nice, it just seems the manager has a problem with contractors. The rooms are dated in the hotel, but are fresher in the lodge next door, but if you get put in here and on the top floor make sure you save some energy to get up the stairs after a hard days work. I cannot comment on the breakfast as we have to go to work before they open the dining area at 07.30 ( we are not stuck in the sixties we are in a 24/7 world nowadays , open up earlier!!! ). The clientèle are generally elderly couples who come for day trips during the week so it is very quite in the hotel and relaxing. In all i would only recommend this hotel to the day tripping retired folk , just make sure you never mention you were a contractor or it will be off to the lodge for your sins.

Room Tip: Stay out of the lodge.

Stayed here for 1 night. Having read the reviews on here I had no expectations. But friendly reception staff, lovely bar. Flat screen tv and lovely comfortable beds. Newly refurbished bathroom. Complimentary use of swimming pool. Room service. Everything as good as I could wish for.
Bad point. Floorboards!! Bring earplugs!
But all in all, great place and I would recommend it to anyone.
Great location too
