“Super experience..”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

You have to go and visit this little gem in Bournemouth. Wonderful house and contents in a superb position to get away from the modernity of Bournemouth.
Don't be put off by the stern staff (Portia you are excluded!! She was super and very knowledgable about the house) and the pressure to pay. It is FREE with a suggestion to donate but don't feel you have to.
Go and look. Its a moment away from the pier.

“Bizarre museum”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

A strange house and museum. A collection built up by Russell-Cotes, and it's awesome to think that only a fraction of his collection is shown. Definitely worth a look. Excellent cafe.

“A real must!”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

This former private home, right in the centre of Bournemouth, is a real must for visitor and local alike. It is wonderful to see how people lived in former times.

This private house and collection of paintings is a jewel. Unusual architecture. Free entry until end of March.

Reviewed March 24, 2013

Stumbled apon this and what a gem, beautiful looking house from the outside and was like the tardis inside the rooms went on forever. Nice cafe inside, no entrance charge on the day we visited but donations were requested.
