“An unexpected Gem.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

Hidden away on the east cliff road behind the Royal bath Hotel is a small but very interesting museum showing the early history of Bournemouth and the Russell- Cotes family. Well worth a visit for a couple of hours.

A real mixture of items from all over the world, something for everybody. Pity the coffee shop was closed.

“Always try and support this Museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2013

Each time that we have visited Bournemouth - we have visited the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum. Have been here for many years and at the very beginning of visiting - it has been changed very much in tiding up, adding a small restaurant, and the various exhibitions which are held here for several months before moving on elsewhere. Unfortunately, on January 19, 2013 the Restaurant was closed due to refurbishment, weather outside was freezing.
