“Fantastic weekend”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

Arrived late but still made very welcome. Room lovely and large very clean. Breakfast cooked to order, arrived quickly and was delicious. Nothing too much trouble for Debbie. Were given key to come and go as we pleased. Whole hotel lovely and clean and inviting. Would highly recommend Rosscourt to stay at. Location excellent only few minutes walk to Boscombe Pier and the Harvester which served a very good meal.

Debbie was very welcoming and helpful and let us into our room before the official check in time. The cooked breakfast was delicious and pretty quick to arrive, good coffee. The room was large and the bed comfy and the only thing I would have liked was a bath in the bathroom, but that's hardly a deal breaker. I gave the location a 3 as it is a bit of a trek into the town centre but if you're active, it's a lovely walk along the beach to Bournemouth. The beach is actually much nicer at the end where the hotel is located because it's so much quieter - we went on a couple of rare sunny days in August and while the stretch of the beach by the arcades etc was rammed with screaming children, it was pretty tranquil near Rosscourt. Recommend the Coriander Mexican restaurant for dinner.

We have just returned from Rosscourt on a KGB deal, where we stayed for 3 nights (we paid for an extra night). It is the perfect location to travel around the area by car during the day and if you want a night out Bournemouth is about a £5 taxi ride (walkable in the day but not on a night in heels ;)).
If you are young and wanting lively night life then Boscombe might not be for you but Charlie Chaplins is worth a visit as it has live music!
The best part of Rosscourt is Debbie, she makes you feel so welcome immediately and is full of advice on where to go, where is lively, good restaurants and the best places to visit. The breakfasts are lovely and all cooked fresh as well as toast, cereal, fruit options. The whole property is very clean and tidy and you can tell very well cared for. You are free to come and go as you please and Debbie provides a discount card when you check in where you get offers at local restaurants and the local taxi firm.
All in all we had a brilliant weekend away and would recommend Rosscourt to anyone who was thinking of staying here.

Room Tip: A few people have mentioned the traffic, we were in room 1 and i did not notice it at all - it is Wi...

Booked a weekend to use a voucher. I was very impressed at the comfort and welcome.Everything was clean and fresh. There was plenty on the refreshments tray in the bedroom and spare bedding in case it was needed.
Full breakfast was excellent and non greasy, one of the best I've ever eaten. There was also plenty of tea, filter coffee, toast, choice of cereal and fruit juice and yogurt.
Debbie showed her experience when dealing effortlessly with guests with limited English, unexpected dietary restrictions and gave advice about local attractions.
Although parking was tight, there was room for everyone. I would happily recommend Rosscourt.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front have some traffic noise, we were advised to leave open the ensuite window at the...

My husband and I stayed at the Rosscourt for two nights. We were very impressed by the warm welcome from Debbie. Addressing all the guests by first name makes it a homely environment. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is fantastic. Debbie has good relationship with some of the local restaurants hence when eating out you continue having that personal service. The discount card is handy.- Highly recommended

We stayed here for 2 nights on a KGB deal which made it excellent value. Unfortunately the wrong postcode was given on the confirmation email we received after booking so our satnav guided us to Poole but a phone call to Debbie put us on the right track. Parking was a little difficult in the confined spaces at the front of the hotel, but any free parking is a bonus in Bournemouth. The room was clean, fresh and comfortable and Debbie was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely apart from the sausages (sorry, just not for us) with separate tables in a bright room with separate tables. If staying here, make sure you visit Chaplin's, a unique bar and garden just around the corner offering a great atmosphere, nice food and live music. We have family in Bournemouth and visit regularly. We would be happy to stay at Rosscourt again especially if there was a similar deal available.
